A friend and I stayed at the Briarcliff Inn for three nights and loved the place. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are colorful, with scenic views in all directions. The Inn's keeper Carrie and Malcolm were welcoming, helpful and so kind at all times. Carrie is an amazing cook and the meals were delicious with generous portions...

Carrie and Malcolm are absolutely wonderful hosts. We decided to find the place early in the day so it would be easier to find if it got dark. We really didn't expect to check in so early but they insisted. They were so accommodating. When we returned it was late and there was a note on the white board greeting...

My daughter and myself stayed for two nights. Carrie and Malcolm are wonderful hosts. Helpful, kind and do all sorts of research for you if required! Carrie even packed us some drinks and energy bars as she knew were going on a long drive. So kind and thoughtful. The breakfasts are out of this world, two courses usually. Carrie is...

My husband and I were looking for a special place for an overnight get away and Briarcliffe turned out to be perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Malcolm and Carrie and immediately felt comfortable in their beautiful historic home. The peaceful surroundings were just what we needed and the breakfast was great. Briarcliffe Inn is situated in a beautiful peaceful setting on Prince Edward Island. The house is lovely and the room I stayed in was so pretty and well appointed. The Hosts Carrie and Malcolm seemed to have thought of everything you might need or want. I slept better there than I do in my own bed at home. There is...

We stayed with our 4 young children and the welcome and hospitality was excellent. Malcom and Carrie are excellent hosts and we appreciated all the little touches that showed passion and commitment such as the cold water jugs delivered before bedtime, our room lights turned on when we were late coming in from dinner so we didn't have to search...

My girlfriend and I planned to do a bike trip around the island (850 km in one week) and we needed some place near the bridge to stay on our arrival on the island. More importantly, we needed somewhere where we could leave our car unattended for seven days in a row. The Briarcliffe Inn was the perfect spot. The...

Staying at the Briarcliffe Inn went BEYOND our expectations. First, the owners, Carrie and Malcolm, are two of the sweetest souls that you will meet on the island. They catered to everyone with the utmost of care and sincerity. We were blessed to stay for five nights and the breakfasts each morning were fabulous! We were never served the same...

Stayed 2 nights with our 2 children (3&6) and loved every moment. Hospitable and friendly hosts, beautiful property and the loft room was perfect for our young family. With our own private bathroom (amazing tub!), child beds and a king made from clouds and baby goose feathers, we were in no rush to leave. Highly recommended for a week or...

We loved this beautiful old farmhouse that has been completely updated in a very pretty, relaxed style. Our room, with a 4-poster bed, was beautiful with south-facing windows that let in light and a wonderful breeze at night. It was lovely to wake up in the morning to sound of birds singing. Our hosts, Carrie and Malcolm, were friendly and...

The Briarcliffe Inn is a lovingly restored century farmhouse in the heart of rural Prince Edward Island. We are situated on 3 acres of property close to working farms and a red sand beach. Things to do in the area: take a short 5 minute walk to Salutation Cove to explore the tide pools or go for a swim; picnic at the historic Seacow Head Lighthouse; help feed our delightful free-range pigs; sample island jams & honeys and teas at breakfast; watch the magnificent Maritime sunsets from our deck; visit the Lower Bedeque Schoolhouse where Lucy Maud Montgomery taught or the Central Bedeque Museum.
