We were here a year ago and the scenery and location is spectacular but the hotel is lacking cleanliness and maintenance... It is short staffed in the dining areas which is a shame as their kitchen is very good but loses a lot due to no bus boys to clean the tables. The rooms are clean but need a real...

Its a nice hotel, with a lot of extras that you usually get charged for. So if you are in forkayaking and paddleboarding this is the place to go. The sea is really nice, and their pets (iguanas and racoons) are friendly and gave our kids something to do. The rooms are nice although for the price, could be better.

We have been in an other hotel in town but passed the hotel and saw the Spa section. So we entered and informed about what they offer. Benjamin a well experienced and friendly guy spoke with us about our jobs and our "problem zones" of the body. We made an appointment and had a great 100% relaxing time. Respect, great...

If you are looking for something peaceful this is the option, there is a small beach and the sea is beautiful in this island, the service is great. There is equipment if you want to surff or do kayak and is all free. The restaurant has great bread as it is made at the moment and they serve them hot,...

The people here were very friendly although service was super slow in the restaurant when there was hardly anyone there. However the food was pretty good. Try the ceviche verde. Our room was nice but smelt like mildew. The dehumidifier in room filled up completely twice a day. Not good for such an expensive place. Other resorts comb the seaweed...

This was our first time in the island, its a paradise full of nature and breathtaking landscapes everywhere you go. The hotel is the best hotel of the island, great service, food, the facilities are super clean and very well designed. We will definitely return soon.

We had a nightmare of stay in Las Nubes. Be aware that this is not a boutique hotel, it's a two star hotel. We booked directly through them after finding them through Splendia.com. They sent pictures of the rooms and price $US 300 x night. When we arrived they put us at the back of the hotel in a very...

Six months ago, I visited Holbox with my girlfriend and stayed at a different hotel (not Las Nubes). During that trip, we came across Las Nubes and vowed to return. A couple of weeks ago, we did. And it was excellent. Las Nubes is a step-change from other hotels in Holbox. It’s more private, more beautiful, and in a better...

We came to Isla Holbox and ended up staying 4 extra days. We were hoping to move to Las Nubes if nothing FOR THE VIEW from the bars. So - even though they were booked solid - we came here several times just to have a drink and enjoy the view. Don't miss it!

I had never heard of Holbox Island before my Best Friend told me we would have to fly there for his wedding. You'll have to fly in to Cancun, then take a 2 hr van/car ride to the tip of mexico where you will board a ferry ride (30 min). Finally you will get to Holbox Island where you will...
