This place was great and worth every peso. The owner, David, and his staff were very accommodating and helpful. Benjamin was an especially nice guy. I sent an email to them requesting a bed on the morning that I departed for Holbox. They promptly replied and reserved a bed for me, although they had to move me after the first... More

The hostel is fab- let's get that straight first. Really friendly staff and it looks great. We were originally booked to spent 3 nights in the cabaña with sand floors: at first I was so taken by its rustic charm! Sadly though, we quickly got frustrated by the sand in the bed, sand in our clothes, sand everywhere, and the... More

We had a private room with private bathroom for a couple of nights in the low-season. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. One important aspect for us was that the rooms are quiet, which was definitely satisfied. The center of the island (where an ATM, shops, many restaurants, etc. are located) can be reached in a few minutes... More

We slept in private cabaña with sand floor. Bathroom was awesome. It's 15 min walking from harbour. 10 min (max) walking from center. 2 min walk to the beach. Nice to hang around with other guests during the evening. Nearby there is a very good local restaurant, we were the only foreigners during all time, all were locals having dinner... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in the low season. The staff were fantastic - super friendly! The accommodation has a natural feel as the rooms are in wooden huts. The beds are pretty small if you are sharing and a major negative for us was no air con. We did have a private bathroom and the room was cleaned... More

Easy-going atmosphere. The place offers traditional "palapas", as well as basic wood cabañas with the option of shared or own bathroom. The place is very neat and the staff very friendly (most speak perfect English). The rooms are equipped with handmade furniture and even handmade soaps and shampoos. Everything in the hotel is produced by hand. The only minus of... More

I really enjoyed my stay in the hostel. The room was quiet big with bathroom inside the room. very comfortable beds and a wild feeling as it looks like you're sleeping in a hut. Breakfast is tasty and it's served outdoors at small tables under palm trees. Really nice experience if you take mosquito repellent with you. This is VERY... More

What a great find! My group of 3 loved this budget hostel. For only 175 pesos (US $9.75) per person, we stayed in a hammock with mosquito net that included a free basic breakfast combo (coffee, fresh juice, and breakfast bread, or a 50 peso credit toward the breakfast of your choice) and access to the public kitchen and shower... We had a very good time there! We rented a cabana with friends and all enjoyed it. I really liked the nicely-decorated bathroom. I'm not sure whether he's still there but the Italian cook was awesome and made great coffee. I also spent a night in a hammock, that was fun. There seem to be quite a few negative comments... More
