This place is located right, smack in the middle of town. There is no site parking per se but there is parking around the are, nearby. The place is very eclectic with a ton of colorful figures, paintings, and things of the like. Our room had a bunch of colorful stuff too and we could see the Convent directly accords...

Beautiful hotel with a classy interior and lots of atmosphere. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the main square and the monastery. Great to watch town life enrolling, especially in the evening. The hotel is spacious and has lovely internal places in the courtyard to linger. Very good value for money. Only the breakfast was uninspired as...

Very cosy hotel with nice rooms. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Hotel has a nice roof top garden and offers continental breakfast but you can order ( for a extra charge) additional items. Location is ideal as it is directly in the center - so you can walk to the cathedral and the pyramid. Definitely recommend it.

We found this hotel with the help of our lonely planet guide. The location was excellent adjacent to the convent and a short walk from Kinich the best restaurant around. The receptionist was very helpful and at MXN 685 with aircon including a very nice continental breakfast it seems a little unfair to pick fault. The lack of hot water...

This place was wonderful, besides being a gorgeous property decorated with a very eclectic Mexican style and really nice and friendly staff. This was my second visit to Izamal and I can say that this property will be easy on the wallet and will be hard to find a better hotel around the same area. Rooms have complimentary WIFI, A/C...

The staff was very friendly and helpful in navigating the town. Balcony rooms come with a view of the plaza and the convent, but everybody and their brother comes to the grocery store on the plaza to shop. So expect to hear their scooters from store opening until closing. The rooms have Wifi, A/C and cable TV. The price is...

We spent two nights in Izamal, Mexico recently. A two day stay is about perfect to see all the sites and a little time for relaxation. We stayed in Room #5 at Hotel San Miguel Arcangel. This is a very quaint hotel with great service and rooms are very clean. However, don't expect to have washcloth's or face towels in...

You really can't beat this place. Besides being just a gorgeous and well-maintained property, that staff were exceptionally friendly and the room was clean and spacious. We stayed in one of the balcony rooms looking out to the plaza and my wife's parents stayed in the balcony room looking out towards the garden. The plaza room has high (20ft.?) ceilings,...

We spent two lovely nights at this hotel in Izamel. The room was super clean, spacious, air conditioning, bathroom was great. The common areas are beautiful: courtyard for breakfast, upstairs livingroom, garden area.... The continental breakfast was just toast, jam and coffee, but you could order something extra from a menu. About two blocks from the bus depot. Highly recommend.

I didn't stay at this hotel. I only had planned 4-5 hours in Izamal. I walked in and asked if they could watch my bag. The lady agreed. I toured the city for 3 hours and came back to the square looking for some vegetarian food. Izamal is a tiny city and lacks good restaurants. So, I decided to walk...
