Good option

We stayed three night and had a good time. Joao and Felipe were always very helpful. Room was a little small but worked well for three adults. Great view from the back balcony. Breakfast was basic but OK given the early starts each mornings. Good tapioca. WiFi OK from the main building.

Great value for the money

The pousada is a little far from the main plaza, but the view from the rooms is awesome. The breakfast is great as well and the customer service is good too, including free coffee during the afternoon.

Any chance to rate with less than one star?

Awful experience. We book a "master bungalow for four people" but the room can hardly fit two people, not four. Kids were supposed to sleep in beds that were basically chaise longue with a very thin layer of foam rubber. Finally yet important: the room was unhealthy with humidity on all walls and the ceiling was so wet that a black powder was falling from it. The manager of the Pousada replied us in writing: "Em relação às paredes húmidas, foi um caso extremamente pontual e que poderia ter acontecido em qualquer outra Pousada, pois dias antes aconteceram fortes chuvas na ilha (o que não é comum nesta época)." which basically means "few days earlier it was raining and this is normal for other Pousadas as well!!! Ridicolous. I strongly advise you: stay away from this place. We left after one night and we moved to another one (Residence Flamboyant) were we found a totally different and much better situation for almost the same money. (About the views from there: true that you will have a nice view from the Pousada but just few rooms are on that side. All the others are looking to nowhere or to the wall of the other ones)…
