We stayed for a week in late September and were very happy with Joalah. The cabin we stayed in was right on the beautiful lake with fantastic views across to the surf beach. The lake is a great place for kids as there is plenty of room to run around and the water is not too deep. We also had... More

Stayed with family in December and thoroughly enjoyed the week. The park is absolute beachfront with stunning beaches and a large lake to the side that is perfect for fishing. The views are spectacular and there is native wildlife everywhere. A nice drive in through spectacular forest from the main highway, it is about 15-20 minutes drive into Batemans Bay... More

This is a beautiful spot with perfect location. The park is hidden in the national park and very quiet. The cabin are absolute waterfront with great views and are well appointed. The management is very friendly and helpful. The wildlife is amazing. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Undoubtedly a beautiful spot. The cabins were clean and well presented with enough basic kitchen equipment. The wildlife is a highlight with kangaroos at your doorstep, abundant bird life some which will feed out of your hands! Even though it rained for a good 3 days during our trip it was still beautiful with a stunning view of the lake... More

A bunch of work mates went over the Clyde from Canberra to enjoy the coast for a weekend. We were recommended to Joalah Holiday Park by one of our colleagues, and I can totally see why. The cabins are comfortable and come with most things you need for a weekend (or longer) getaway. Great value for money, especially if you... More

You have to take a side road and travel 10 km on solid roads to get to this spot. But it is worthwhile. The cabins are comfortable (they are connected to a camp site), there is a small shop opposite, but rather bring your own stuff. The bay is great and you can have nice walks, also in the adjacent... Gorgeous location. Plenty of wildlife in and around: a chance to get close to birds and wallabies. We stayed in a caravan with an annex which was roomy. Disappointed by owners' dogs barking, no heater or electric blanket, very old soft bed.

Durras North is certainly a beautiful spot with abundant, very friendly wildlife. We are sorry your stay was not as you hoped and have taken your points on board. We do have a fan heater in the van with annexe which would have quickly warmed up your room. As the van is our budget accommodation electric blankets are not provided... More

The location is ah-mazing - picture perfect with cabins located on a pristine beach abundant with wildlife. Get up close and personal with the roos, do some bird spotting or take a walk along the beach. It's a low tide lagoon so perfect for kids or non swimmers. It's worth splashing out on an executive waterfront cabin which are super... More

I spent the weekend here with my family and was pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend this park to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing and yet at the same time action packed weekend if that's what you want. Cant wait to be back with my young family. Kids loved it.

My wife, two children and I had to endure a Saturday night full of loud and extremely foul language by 5 men staying in the cabin next door. BBQ was started after 10.00pm, which is located just a couple of metres from our bedroom. Unlike other caravan parks we have stayed at, there is no information in the cabins about... More

I am terribly sorry to hear that you had an unenjoyable time here at Joalah. I am as disappointed as you are about this as we pride ourselves on people having an enjoyable holiday. Let me assure you this is an extremely rare occurrence. However, I feel your comments are extremely unfair. Your wife did call the office at 10:30pm... More
