We had a great time staying with Colin and Janet at their cozy B&B. They were a really nice couple and the rooms were nice and quiet. We were right in the heart of Waitomo, only minutes away from the Discovery Center and the Ruakiri Cave. They provided flashlights and directions on how to do a free hike to see...

We had the wonderful opportunity of staying with Colin and Janet at their guest lodge while visiting Waitomo in November 2013. The rooms/suites are beautiful and clean and the scenery surrounding their lodge is lovely. Our hosts went out of their way to recommend places to eat and visit while we were in the area. As we were traveling from...

We stayed only 1 night with Janet & Colin (& Gypsy the dog!). Colin was so helpful in pointing us in the right direction for some hiking trails and making dinner reservations as well. The continental breakfast was lovely and the gardens around the lodge were beautiful. We had a large, clean room with a private little patio that was...

We were made so welcome by Colin and Janet it was a pleasure to stay at the Guest Lodge. We had one of the smaller/cheaper rooms (No 5) with 2 single beds but it was very comfortable with a lovely en-suite. The continental breakfast was excellent.

We'd previously stayed here in 2007 and wouldn't have considered anywhere else for our return trip. The B&B rooms are spread across several buildings within beautiful flowering gardens with hundreds of melodious gardens birds. The free homemade biscuits, the 'sweet-talking' our preferred restaurant into taking our booking when they were full, the loan of towels for our day's activity and...

Very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners are nice to meet and to talk with. They have GF breakfast options. And, they are right across the street from one of the best cafes in NZ, the HuHu Cafe.

The hospitality of the lovely owners of this B&B started when they supplied recommendations for driving from Auckland airport and continued right through our visit with them. Arriving at the Lodge was more like catching up with old friends than checking in, we were given a warm welcome, lots of great advice and taken to our room which had spectacular...

We had planned to camp in a tent on our NZ trip but wanted a smooth start so we booked this venue. Very neat, clean and nice. Good breakfast and had a nice chat with the owners. The booking procedure had been smooth and came with good advise about the caves. Can warmly recommend this place.

We stayed at the Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge on October 25, 2013. After a long drive from Rotorua we checked into this lovely B&B. Our studio room was in a separate building to the main house so it was very private and quiet. homes dotting the landscape. The view from the room was like being in the "Lord of the...

Very comfortable room with a spacious terrace, great views over the valley and a well tended garden around the property. Enjoyable continental breakfast. Centrally located in Waitomo with good access to the (limited) facilities of the village and the surrounding walks. Good shower. Very chatty, friendly host. Room and bathroom a bit small. Very small hand basin in bathroom.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. I agree the bathroom is small, hence the small hand basin. The deck outside the ranch slider makes this room very popular with travelers.
