Ok place to stay one night. Breakfast was good. Wifi was bad. We bought online from hotel next door. We had sharing bathrooms but they were clean. But don't take room downstairs as all wooden structure makes heaps of noise from top. They do transport for crossing.

Thank you for taking the time to review our budget lodge bed and breakfast, I was pleased you enjoyed your breakfast, I will look into the WiFi - maybe we need to put an extra receiver in the lodge as the units WiFi all work well. Thank you for the feedback

My husband and I stayed there for two nights to do the crossing. We had mistakenly booked a room at the lodge, but we were easily upgraded to the motel with no problem. After our arrival, we decided to have food and transportation arranged, so we decided it was a better deal to just buy the Freedom package. If you...

we stayed two nights at Adventure Lodge to do the Tongariro Crossing. This lodge is really well run. Units beautifully clean, food of a good standard and service excellent. Lorraine and Ron could not have been more helpful.

Great to hear you enjoyed your adventure here in National Park. We would welcome you back to do the crossing in winter!

We stayed here two nights for our crossing. The location is perfect and the transport service arranged by the lodge was excellent. The rooms with shared bathrooms are really noisy. You can hear every door going open and close and hear every word the people say in the room next to you. The owner came across as stressed at times...

Thank you for taking your time to give feedback, the soft strips on the door frames to the bathroom will definitely be replaced. I pleased you enjoyed the Tongariro Shuttle service. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip to New Zealand

Great location, right in the park. The freedom package was great. The packed lunches were delicious and had the right amount of food and water for the hike. The pick up back after the trail gave us good motivation to complete the hike within 7-8 hours. Rooms were comfortable and the dinner after the hike was pretty good. Spa after...

Thoroughly recommend the two night package on offer at the Adventure Lodge and Motel to anyone walking the Tongariro crossing. We were greeted on arrival by bubbly Lorraine ( owner ) and was personally escorted to our lovely spacious motel. Very knowledgable about the area and gave us good advice about the importance of applying sunscreen to not only the...

Loved the freedom package, we didn't have to worry about anything, it was all taken care of for us. The room (studio 1) was a great size and very comfortable, we slept well. Loraine took good care of us despite working without her hubbie for a couple of days. Lunch for our hike was excellent and the steak (and vegetarian)...

We booked our accommodation and transport with Adventure lodge. Lorraine and Ron were very helpful in our booking of accommodation as we were doing the circuit and had to leave our vehicle there and return on another day. We booked our transport with them and everything was nicely arranged. Our only regret was that we didn't book the package which...

We booked for two nights but found that we could not do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing on our preferred day because of weather conditions. We were very happy to stay another night.
