We stayed at Langdam last week and it was so amazing. We picked pears for breakfast , hiked up the mountain with dogs protecting us and swam in the dam. The trip into Montague is one of the most beautiful drives ever and the whole area on the R318 is just incredibly beautiful. Langdam was worth every cent. The hosts...

Great little place to get away for a weekend or week even. The farm was so beautiful. We went fishing on the dam at the lapa. Had some snacks on the grass area while we watched the sun set. The cottage we stayed at was really cozy. Very romantic and quiet. Each house is different though. The self catering cottages...

Being avid campers, we jumped at the chance of "Glamping" - camping without the hassle of setting up ourselves. Kirsten gives a friendly welcome and directed us to the site where we were met with a clean and inviting safari tent. Perhaps an information pamphlet would help guests to find everything quickly but being resourceful, we soon found out where...

We stayed at the Pear Tree cottage twice now and the place is absolutely perfect for a break away from the city. All the facilities are great especially the braai on the stoep overlooking the dam. Great animal life. We did the most wonderfull walk up the mountain and the view from the top over the Koo valley is stunning....

We stayed in the suite right next to the farmhouse. The room was very nice and comfortable and the fireplace was great. The friday night we slept less due to staff having a party in the main house, But the next day they did apologize for the noise. I recommend to take a cottage away from the main house. All...

Took tge 30min drive to Montagu for daily supplies. There is a cabin that offers a refrigerator and microwave. One must be prepared for strong winds esspecially at night as...

We stayed here as 2 couples with 2 little kids, staying in the Almond Cottage and Pear Cottage. The cottages were clean and well-fitted out with thoughtful attention to detail. Both cottages had indoor fires and an outdoor braai. Pear was open plan and had a large veranda. Almond has a double room to the side, 2 single beds in...

We spent two nights here and returned home with our batteries fully charged. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Lynn at reception gave us a warm and friendly welcome and checked in with us on the second day to make sure all was well. The children loved every minute of their time there with loads to...
