The unit we stayed in was quite comfortable. We enjoyed the serine Karoo beauty of the area and the extreme remoteness. We took a self-drive and saw some game and went to view the Bushman art. On the downside....unfortunately the fridge (solar/battery powered) did not work very well but the Lodge is well prepared with ice. The pool was a...

Not much can be said that already hasn't in the great reviews. Mowana is always around and so helpful if you need him. He even let us feed the cheetahs with him. The views are stunning and you really feel like you can relax as it's so quiet. The food we had was fantastic too, we were treated like royalty...

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the little cottage with its spacious terrace where you can truly relax and take in the views. The remoteness and scenery out weigh the animals which are fairly scarce ( not with standing we saw ostrich, wildebeest, kudo & Eland). It was nice to be able to freely walk out in the countryside amongst...

We had a lovely stay. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Cheetah conservation in action and the daily feeds are very impressive to be that close to these awesome cats. Great to enjoy the quiet nights, eland, zebra, kudu etc and inquisitive ostriches.

Thank you for the fantastic weekend! We don't know when we have relaxed quite so fully as we did at the African Game Lodge. The weather was perfect, exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. The chalets were very well equipped, staff were super friendly and helpful as usual. With small children the crisp white linen is such a...

We absolutely loved the lodge - so remote, quiet and peaceful. The unit was great - all we needed. Loved the view from our unit. Could sit there for hours. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Thank you for the review! It was a pleasure having you. We are full regarding our carrying capicity of animals. Due to the drought the animals roam deep in the valleys where there are still some grass for them. Sometimes not accessable by car or visible from the roads. After the rains you should visit and see the numbers. We...

Wonderful time. We enjoyed all the freedom we had to self drive and game view. The lodge staff and game rangers were knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be back. The pool has the most beautiful view ever.

Wonderful, quiet place in the little karoo with lovely houses, delicious food and very friendly people. You can walk with the ostriches, feed the cheetahs, swim in the pool or go on a safari with some guys from the lodge and their 4x4.
