About 3-4 hrs from Cape Town, I was driven to the Welcome Centre, from where I was picked up by the Lodge vehicle. 45mins from there to the Lodge. On arrival, I was offered a hot towel for my face and hands. 9 tent lodges, each of which slept 2 adults. Lodge was well appointed - comfortable bed with electric...

We stayed for 2 days in Tilney Manor which was beautifully arranged with rooms to die for and views looking out into the reserve giving the sensation of being one with nature. The staff are both delightful and super professional and we were always given a warm welcome back after returning from our game drives. Our ranger was Josh, young,...

We stayed at Tilney Manor. Lovely main building with a bit of history to it. Excellent, friendly service from everyone. Great room with top class furnishings, indoor and outdoor bathroom, terrace, and a view out over the plain. Food was excellent too. Our ranger Chris was great; friendly, informative, etc. On the evening drive we saw the white lions and...

We stayed in the tented lodge. It was an oasis. Spacious, great attention to detail and super relaxing. The safari was amazing - will always remember the animals we saw. It is not cheap, however, worth every penny. Book book book!!

It's my second time. Best place to stay is the tented lodges but those were booked. If you want to experience a reserve that doesn't look like a zoo this place is for you. All the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome. Everything is perfect from the food to the beds and the safaris are very well organised....

It's not Kruger National Park, but expect a dramatically different wildlife experience at this stunning private game reserve -- the 4th largest private reserve in South Africa. The Big Five are all here, plus one of the only free-roaming prides of white lions in the world. Spectacular mountain scenery and wildly different, diverse bionomes are also home to hundreds of birds...

We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful place. Our accommodations were huge and comfortable (and beautiful). The food was fabulous. Everyone was SOOOO kind, and the price was right (unfortunately for South Africa, the exchange rate is very good to USD). We loved our guide and loved seeing the animals. We got very close to giraffes and that was pretty awesome,...

As first time safaris go this reserve is a must. We stayed in the Dwyka tent lodges and they are extremely comfortable but totally Africanised. Definitely recommend. There are other lodges which I would imagine are fantastic too. There is also a family friendly one. The safaris were more than I could ever imagined and our ranger (Marco Flitcher) made...

We stayed in September 2016 the first stop of our honeymoon and by fair the best. From arrival to departure we were retreated with excellent service by all staff but especially Adrian the manager at dwyka. The chef is very high quality and food was at very high standard, we enjoyed the BBQ/bonfire night with the rangers which is a...
