Book a service apartment for my short penang vacation. If you are looking for a high end and grand apartment, not a good recommendation on this as its too old in everything. if you are looking for just, a bed to sleep, water to shower, this was the best as it can fit in with family member and value for money. During my check in, the friendly reception are giving me few key to choose which are the room i wish to stay.. One bedroom deluxe are fully renovated but the room was low. So i choose slightly higher floor wit better sea view, which the room was old. Idont criticism the apartment as how you see it and choose it. Paid for the low prize, i expected the room i get. Dont expected the room to be perfect if you gonna stay here as the price are reasonable f9r the price u r paid.

Attention all bikers.... This facility does not except bikers.... We were denied check in just because we came with bikes... Rude staff just show us a notice which is only circulated among their staff that no bikers allowed in their establishment. Nothing mentioned during booking. And best part.... Our booking deposits were not returned. What kind of discrimination for bikers is this...? Imagine you just arrived from long distance ride and was denied just because you came in with a 2 wheelers...

My family came to Sri Sayang four years ago. Booked with a privately owned apartment. Our stay then was very pleasant. So we decided to book Sri Sayang again this year. I even recommended to my sister's family (great mistake). But this time we booked directly with the apartment itself. To our surprised, the apartment was no where near the one we had four years ago. It was room, bed were dirty, broken tiles, air conditioning was not working. Most of the furnitured were old and falling apart. No facility at all in the kitchen. The pool was dirty. Worst of all, when my children were playing in the pool. The worker was jet washing besides the pool. Dirty water was spraying into the pool. I told him to stop, he said the dirty water didn't get into the pool, then carry on washing. We booked in for 5 nights. After two nights stayed we decided to move to another accommodation and give up the other three nights. This is how bad it is. So please don't book this accommodation directly with them. Privately owned one might be different.…

Stayed as a big family in this penthouse on the top floor. The views are breathtaking facing the sea and also had a terrace with bath tub. The building shows of its age maybe needs a few upgrades. But for the price you can’t complain.

The apartment I got was individually owned and marketed under the name of Holiday Homestay Apartments. Wifi was very good. No aircon, and although fans were good, it was still too hot for me to sleep. Pillows were big and hard. Cleanliness and maintenance were not good. Linen not provided, but clean towels were provided everyday

No words to describe how terrible these apartments are! There are in poor condition, not well kept, super thin pillows and at this age - no internet provided. The photos and good write ups on booking.com are all fake and I have to say that the staff at reception are friendly and try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. At check in, the staff even give you the key to go up to your allocated unit and check the condition and if you are happy you may check in or they will try their best to give you another unit. Nevertheless all the units are in similar conditions! I was told that the units managed by Art Apartments are better.

Horrible place. The unit is not clean, smelly and look haunted with a faceless painting in there. The unit was not well maintain, after rain the master bedroom and living room was flooded. Masterbedroom's bathroom roof falling off. None of the aircpnd remote control is working.1 of the room's aircond was not working ay all.

Very good two bedroomed apartment with balcony. The sea breezes meant you could sit out all day without bein too hot and it was shaded. Good pool area which also was nicely shaded at certain times of the day. An easy walk into the night market with lots of stalls selling a variety of items and the food market was a great place to eat. Susie was there to greet us when we arrived and was very helpful throughout my stay. A very good choice.

Apartment was nice. Would recommend for travelers to stay here. Would suggest owner to have more cutlery and better channels at Astro. During our trip it was raining the whole day and it was quite boring to be stuck in the apartment without any proper channel
