Stayed here on 11 Nov, Rasa Motel Penang, Batu Feringghi, Penang. It was RM 122 per night for a double bed & a single bed. Clean beds. Shower was working,clean bathroom, tissue was paper thin. TV ✔️ free bottles of water & water dispenser for hot water ✔️. Air cond was working, hangers for clothes ✔️Ample carpark space✔️ Nearby is Barry Beautiful Laundrette- to wash your laundry, 2 minutes away ( by car). It was RM 6 for a wash, dryer - RM 6, please bring exact change to get tokens. Petronas - petrol station and McDonald's takes 1 to 2 minutes by car. 7-11, a 24 hour convenience store and a pharmacy is nearby too. It is about 9 - 10 kilometres to get to Gurney Drive and shopping malls there. Lotus ( previously Tesco) is nearer. There are winding roads to get to this motel, if you are driving - not for the faint hearted. On the way, beachgoers can access the sandy shores though the steps are not well maintained. We tried the food at Chinese Swimming Club ( takes about 10 or 13 minutes to get there), parking is RM 3. Vegetable dishes were from RM 12. There is a deck to enjoy the ocean views. Enjoy. For a budget motel - very comfortable, extremely clean and friendly service. Better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed. Good location - close to beach, cafes and convenience shops. Quiet surroundings.

Upon arrival at the Rasa Motel (free parking) we were greeted by the loveliest, friendliest host. I believe her name was Goi. She asks all about you, how you are doing, etc., gives you a map to explain how to get to the nearby attractions, and explains the water and drinks situation at the motel. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a triple room in the new wing which provided a double and a single bed. The room itself was very clean and bright with a fancy new air conditioner. It's easy to tell how new the bathrooms are as well! It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and Goi can recommend any and all types of food/cuisine that you please, she seems to have all the insider knowledge! They also let us keep our leftover Nasi Kandar in a fridge since there is no fridge in the rooms. I would highly recommend to stay here if you are looking to stay in Batu Ferringhi on a budget but not sacrifice a warm welcome, a neat room, and a great location. …

So i came with my friends just to visit Penang. We stay only one night, but im glad this is our best option. The receptionists, uncle and aunty, they're really do a good service. The way they treat me and friend. I felt welcomed. Thanks for doing a good job. I hope u guys may success in your Rasa Motel. Can move further!

Great place! The most kind and helpfull staff we ever experienced. Very nice and clean rooms and at good central location near the night market and the beach. A lot of free parking and a nice massage place next door where u can get discount because you stay at Rasa.

A clean, quiet and comfortable room, a friendly and very helpful manager and staff, 5 minutes walk from great food and the beach, and the frequent 101 and 102 buses (to Georgetown / national park / airport) stop right outside in both directions. Don't be put off by any external photos of the building on hotel booking websites; the large and very sun-faded sign belongs to a separate massage / beauty therapy business (which is beautiful inside).

Very good stay at Rasa motel in Batu Ferringhi. Friendly staff always available. Clean rooms, everything working. The location is also ideal to reach the beach and restaurants in a walking distance. Private parking space. Highly recommended for the price.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 4 nights. It was absolutely spotless, so comfortable and perfect for our needs! Even better, it is so well priced. It is in a lovely location, with the beach just a quick walk away, as well as Long Beach food court with delicious local food. Would definitely recommend :)

I really like this place! Owners are very friendly and helpful - they really went out of their way to get our room ready a bit early, plus they have great advice about local places to eat and things to do. Our room was very clean and quiet and the size was adequate, even with our bicycle stored inside it. Great location also!

Spent a day there Hotel was really clean. Rooms have got everything you need. We checked in at 1:30 am in the night and uncle (owner of place) was waiting for us, extremely polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again and will also refer to other people as well.
