The staff there called Amin was super friendly, helpful, and made great breakfast!! The place was clean and tidy. The location is very convenient (right opposite to Parkroyal). highly recommended!!! :)
The place is nice and clean. Amin the staff who handles the place , was super friendly and very helpful to me. He's very knowledgeable and it's very fun to have a chat with him. Without a single shred of doubt I'd love to come back here again given the opportunity.
I stayed here in the private room with an en-suite. The room was massive and Spotlessly clean. The location is excellent for access to beach and bars and restaurants. I could actually just make out the sea through the trees. Breakfast was made by Amin on the roof and it was simple yet delightful, with fresh ingredients. I was also lucky enough to watch monkeys while I ate my breakfast one morning!! The stairs are a pain to walk up, but you only have to do it once with a case!
I went there with my friends for a 2-days-1-night stay. The location is strategic and it is a stone throw from the beach. It is actually locate at an old complex and the ground floor come with KFC while the opposite is McDonald which is suitable for tourists who does not suit our local food. There are also lots of restaurant along the road. I recommend you to walk unless you are going to a further place then you can take a bus ride. This boutique hotel does not come with many rooms so be sure to make a booking. The breakfast is delicious and it is 'home-made' by their administrative. The room is spacious and it is very clean. The staff are also kind and welling to help Enjoy the trip if you are going to stay there ;)
We stayed in a private room for 5 nights in March. We were extremely impressed with the service we received and the hotel amenties especially for the price they offer. When you first arrive it doesn't look like much from outside but you can't judge a book by its cover. Our rom was extremely clean and they offer free breakfast on the rooftop each morning where they also use fresh produce from their own garden. Amazing location it's right across the road from the beach, has a currency exchange and scooter hire place right underneath the bed and breakfast and there is also two small supermarkets and a laundry place underneath too. Incredibly easy to get to the hotel from the airport via the public bus, just make sure you check the times on the way back as we missed our bus and didn't leave ourselves enough time to get the next one. If we ever return to Penang I wouldn't stay anywhere else, do yourself a favor and stay at Roomies :-)…
