Checked in and was given 322 high floor but the noise from the generator was significant so requested a room change. We were given 101 at the opposite end of the building. Pros Design is nice but needs TLC and proper cleaning eg dust on artwork Great shower Cons AC was too cold and impossible to control setting to 32C...

Very mixed feelings about the Lone Pine, it was recommended by a friend who used to live in Batu Ferringhi, It is in a great spot, lots of places to eat, nice beach, on the main road, easy for buses and taxis. But, it does market and price itself as a luxury hotel, but it ain't The room was ok,...

I picked this resort as it was small and I expected a nice 3 relaxing nights. The good - the resort is clean and tidy and the rooms are large. Staff are friendly and we attend the NYE party and had an awesome time. I highly recommend the donuts at the breakfast buffet, they are fantastic! The only negative that...

Lone Pine could actually be quite a special place. We weren't naive enough to think that lone pine at $260 a night was going to be truly luxurious. However, from the reviews and price we didn't think it would be a 2-3 star establishment. At 3 stars we'd have been very pleased. We had a great time - met lovely...

Spacious room with a balcony facing the beach.Hotel with spacious surrounding and about 100 rooms,so it is not crowded.Offers one of the best breakfast among hotels in that area.If outside food is preferred, there are many outlets nearby-local, western and others. There is also a night market just outside the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in last week of December 2016. The hotel room is spacious with a good sea and swimming pool view. Negative point is the cleanliness of the hotel needs to be improved. Dust can be found in the room, behind the TV, insect poo can be found next to the balcony tub. Balcony grill is rusty....

A place for the young and elderly. Friendly staff and clean. Main building is only 3 floors there access is great. Built with thoughts of the physically challenged with ramps for wheelchair access. Pool a little small however sufficient for a small hotel

This hotel came highly recommended to us so we decided to stay out in BF rather than my initial choice of down town Penang. Lovely room, with original out door bath - very nice at sunset. However, there were 3 weddings during our 3 day stay. Consisting of evening and sunrise photo shoots! Not only distracting, sometimes noisy but a...

Sadly this hotel's website and advertising are well off reality. In essence the hotel is fine for a medium quality, standard hotel. However as it pushes it's association with the E&O group and brands itself as a boutique hotel, it cannot help but leave you disappointed. Good points: Location Room size and standard Sadly bad points far outweigh the good;...
