Our family of four came for the diving - which was great, but we were most impressed by the service. The staff were attentive to our every wish, and went above and beyond to be helpful. The food was great, and the our tree house was beautiful. The small size of the resort meant the staff all knew us by...

We just returned from paradise and wanted to write a quick few words. This is our second trip to Belize and first to Hamanasi. We flew from DFW to Belize City and then a very short flight to Dandriga. Our room choice was a TreeHouse and the kids loved it! The rooms couldn't have been cleaner. Each day brings a...

This is a beautifully laid out resort, with the consideration of privacy in most rooms and "tree-houses". My husband and I went snorkeling one day (never been scuba-diving, but a lot of people were in Hopkins for that!) -- had a great time. It ended up being just us and the guide. We stopped at a little island off the...

If you want to go to Belize, look no further! Hamanasi surpassed any of our expectations. The guides for the adventures were so knowlegable and interesting, basically a pleasure to have as company. Snorkeling was absolutely besutiful, but we also loved all the inland adventures such as the caves, the mayflower hike and the mayan temples. Service was top-notched. by...

I can not think of one thing to "complain about" and I would have to rave about everything. The staff, every single one were above average at the minimum in excellent customer service, the facitily was beautiful and clean. The tours were well described and the guides are helpful patient and knowledgeable. We got our open water diver certification. I...

Hamanasi We did not stay at the Hamanasi resort. My wife and I wanted to go diving and the hotel we were staying with did not have a dive trip going out that could meet our schedule. Our hotel contacted the Hamanasi Dive Center to see what was available, and they did have diving spots for us. The staff at...

This is a great place with some of the genuinely friendly staff who made our stay special. My husband fell ill on our 1st night & the response by the resort, local doctor & hospital was fantastic. Thankfully he made a quick recovery & after a day on the beach & by the pool we were out & about on...

I knew we were in for something great when we were prompltly picked up at the airport and the driver gave us a non-stop scenic and historic tour and lecture, riddled with local color and humor. The local village was quiet, peaceful and incredibly diverse; the grounds were impeccable; the staff was top-notch and super friendly and competent. We were...

Every positive comment we read on Trip Advisor about Hamanasi is true. My husband and I chose Hamanasi based on the Trip Advisor reviews and celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there. We were there from Feb 25 - March 4 (8 days/7 nights) and were NOT happy about leaving! The staff, the management personnel, the food, the accommodations, the surroundings,...

Hamanasi Resort is the place you want to retire at. Because that is an impossibility, staying there for the 8 nights we did was a wonderful alternative! From the first moment getting picked up at Dangriga airport to the last moment on our drive back to the same airport, our experience was remarkable. The staff? I cannot tell you how...
