We were fortunate enough to be able to get a last minute booking at the Fuego Lodge for 5 nights in Feb 2016 having stayed the previous two nights at Principe down the road. We stayed in the air-conditioned (very effective) top floor apartment which had room for 6 (or possibly 8) to sleep although probably limited by the single...

Fuego Lodge is a little piece of heaven in Santa Teresa. The owners go above and beyond to assist you with your stay. It is located just a short distance from the main drag, so it is peaceful and relaxing. The place is so clean, they work daily to keep the property and apartments spotless. I truly recommend that you...

Fuego Lodge was the perfect place for our 3-week holiday. My husband, myself, and our 16-month-old daughter could not have asked for more!! From the clean, bright, spacious rooms, to the shaded pool and well-planned landscaping and common patio area. Barbara, Itay, and the entire Fuego Lodge staff area all so wonderful and added much to the positive energy and...

We found Fuego Lodge after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and were very happy with our choice. We stayed for almost two weeks in the Santa Teresa / Mal Pais area and tried three places while there (Fuego Lodge, Vista de Olas and Hotel Oasis). I would recommend all of them. We were travelling with our six month old and Barbara...

Barbara and Itay--and their beautiful daughters, Sophie and Eden--created an incredible experience for me and my two kids. It was our first time as a family to Costa Rica and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The property is 'muy tranquilo' and beautiful (everything is comfortable, strong A/C, strong wifi, very clean.) The pool is so relaxing....

This is a great quaint hotel in Santa Teresa. All of the rooms surround the pool, the A/C worked very well and the water pressure/hot water was very good. Barbara, the owner, is fantastic and very helpful with anything you need. We had the whole hotel for a wedding party and everything was so much fun.
