Amazing hotel with an excellent room, well apartment! Beautiful setting with classic limestone Chateaux with tons of charm. Room very comfortable, with large King sized bed in separate room, large bathroom with separate shower and bath, and beautiful sitting room. Nice desk beside the window to write in your journal. Wifi great, beautiful sitting rooms down stairs. Nice restaurant with... More

We had some wonderful days experiencing the charm and personal service at this great hotel. You will be fascinated to see the outdoor serving in the summertime, under the threes with lightning that just makes the magic of the moment.

We had a beautiful large " apartment" type suite with entrance and sitting room. Good air conditioning. The bathroom was a bit small but the shower was nice with good pressure. The grounds and gardens are stunning. Little ferns growing in tiny cracks in the walls and beautiful trimmed shrubs. The pool was quit cool, not heated, but refreshing for... More

Stayed in the Grand standing room. Spacious sitting room and bedroom, clean, nice interior, but the bathroom is a bit small. The air-conditioning works very well which is important because the weather was crazy hot. The hotel grounds are also beautiful, but the area is limited and not much to see. Wifi only works in the reception area but not... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a Backroads Bicycle tour. Our room was an incredible suite with a separate sitting room. Every room is unique. Lovely helpful staff, wonderful grounds. We did not want to leave. A boutique hotel with a nice sitting room to sample wine before meals.

Spent two nights here on the Gourmande promotion in a Grand standing room no 23. Lovely room opening on to the garden, which was ideal for the dogs. The hotel is very nice, old and full of character. The highlight has to be the wonderful gardens and pool area. Very natural and well kept. Dogs were able to stay cool... More

The hotel grounds are beautiful, and we only wish it had been good weather so we could have dined outside. The overall atmosphere is of casual country elegance. The hotel is well-located and is an easy drive to many of the castles, caves and hill top villages. Just a wonderful country-side to explore. The food at the restaurant is excellent,... More

What a beautiful property in the middle of the Dordogne valley. Tiny village with the requisite bakery. A 10 minute drive to anywhere. But the hotel is wonderful. The original building is antique-y and warm with fireplaces and overstuffed furniture. The rooms were a little "delicate" for us so we opted for a room in the building across the pathway... More

This is a charming and beautifully run hotel in the heart of the Dordogne. The staff could not be more welcoming, friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we had a good stay. The rooms are not modern but are very tastefully decorated (all with their own individual themes) and extremely comfortable. We stayed in... More
