Situated in a small mountain village, expect a warm friendly welcome. Excellent rooms with all amenities, a spa, swimming pool and lovely mountain views. A good restaurant, you will be offered set meals but it is worth asking for the 'a la carte' menu if the set menu is too large for your appetite. The food was all locally sourced...

The hotel is right in the centre of Auron and has a large bar and restaurant with outdoor seating on the square. The rooms are relatively basic, but comfortable enough. The food is hearty rather than sophisticated (e.g. pasta, steak and pizza), but generally pretty good. There are a supermarket and other bars and restaurants close by.

We spent a week in the hotel Edelweiss (half-board) and we had an enjoyable stay. The personnel is very friendly and the food was good. The rooms at the top floor are a bit small however and have no bathtub (shower only). The hotel is well situated a few meters away from the main lift to the ski runs. There...

Didn't stay here but had a nice coffee in the morning and a beer after skiing, nice heated bar area and outside enclosed terrace over looking square, friendly service and can quite definately say this is the closest you'll get to the ski lift up to the ski pistes

If you plan to visit Auron and dont want to spend a fortune on accommodations, yet want to stay in the best location, then Hotel Edelweiss is for you! It is a relatively small place, but the rooms are clean and nice. They are not very big, but who cares, you only sleep there. The staff is super friendly and...

This might have been a one star place. The service was friendly but everything else was disappointing. The Hotel is terribly noicy and it seemed to cater a clientele that likes to make noices: partying, drinking, running up and down the stairs and giggling around 4. am. The walls are made of paper. The foor in the restaurant is quite...

The good: the hotel is right across from the ski lift. The rooms are quite pleasant and have been renovated fairly recently. Bed linen was good quality and spotlessly clean. I was offered free breakfast after the room was changed from the one booked. Free wifi. Very central. Good breakfast. The bad: the hotel halls and stairways are in terrible...

Nice Location. Very friendly staff. Good view from the room. Old and broken stuff though! Breakfast was reasonable. Phone did not work that I got with booking. Got a new number only after reaching the hotel. No one at the reception. but a post-it with phone number to call to.

We knew we had only booked a 2 star property but we were still disappointed. The hotel took 100% of our money the day we booked on booking.com and was only due to take a 30% deposit. When I raised this they did apologise but as I had incurred charges I did not want it refunded prior to arrival -...

It is a small hotel, not fancy but located in the heart of the station managed by great people, friendly and helpful and very patient with kids....The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is really good, pretty healthy and tasty. We did not stay too long because it was the end of the season but I recommend this place....
