We've stayed here for a couple of years now when travelling on a four day lads ski holiday. Edith who runs the place does a fantastic job. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is plentiful with a wide range of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, eggs, juices etc. The hotel is centrally laocated so,very convenient for the main telecabine,...

Even my teenage son could find nothing to complain about. Clean comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Excellent friendly service Well located on the edge of town centre. I would not have complained if the price was double.

We like staying here as it is really central to Chatel and the Avalanche bar, and all the ski lifts. You can either walk up to lac vonnes or get the super Chatel bubble. Lovely views from the balconies and sun sun sun, when it's sunny......

Very impressed with the hotel, Edith runs a very clean & frendly hotel that pays attention to detail. We stayed here whilst skiing & I would certainly come back, Chatel is a great village & the skiing is vast.

We recently stayed at Le Choucas. The B&B is warm with a rustic charm and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts each morning were delicious with croissants, fresh bread, cheese, breads, boiled eggs, ham etc The B&B is located close to the centre of the village and an easy walk to the cable car to Super Chatel. There are lots of restaurants...

We were a group of six friends staying in Chatel for the second time but the first time in this excellent hotel. Edith is lovely and runs a really first class hotel, it's hard to remember it is 2star! Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, modern enough whilst retaining its traditional charm. You get a Friendly welcome every time you pass Edith....

This friendly hotel provides clean, light rooms and a fantastic breakfast with lots of choices. Definitely a genuine French experience. Beautiful location near the centre of the village and with spectacular views over the valley.

Edith and her family looked after us very well indeed when we came for a 4 night ski break. The room was warm, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but good value, and the location is great - close to shops, restaurants, ski lifts and the bus pick up point for skiing. There was some noise from the road...

We weren't expecting a lot for the price but were offered a choice of rooms (the rear rooms are bigger and quieter but lack a view). A lovely welcome every morning the owner who could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend and would love to return for the Ski season. The only disappointment was the breakfast coffee (from...
