It is one year since my husband and I and 3 daughters and niece stayed with Areti at Metohi Georgila in theTitika apartment, which was beautifully appointed. This is not just accomodation but a home filled with true hospitality and a wonderful history. Our stay here will remain in our hearts and we will not forget the special time spent...

We stayed here last June and plan on going back very soon. From the moment Areti picked us up at the airport to the time we left, we felt very welcome and looked after. All the little touches, like homemade lemonade left in the fridge to fresh fruit from the garden and homemade muffins just made our stay so much...

We stayed for 3 days in September as a quick getaway to Crete. Wonderful place. Family hotel, ran in a very professional manner. Ideal location,15 minutes by car from Chania Centre and 30 minutes to the beach of Falasarna. Fantastic hospitality by the owners, always keen to help and very quick to respond to whatever we needed. Metohi Georgila is really very lovely with a delightfully pleasant ambience. This is amplified by an non intrusive, but considerate and thoughtful and very pleasant hospitality by the owners and family and employees. Our second stay here confirms the ongoing positive experiences we had the first time. We stayed in Titika the first time and Artemis the second, with two...

We stayed at Metohi Georgila for one week in September 2014 in the two bedroom apartment Titika. We were so pleased we had chosen this place! The apartment was exceptionally clean, the bedrooms are of good size and the kitchen is fully equipped with a normal size fridge and stove. The balcony is nice and big with sunbeds and chairs...

Arrived on a late flight from UK and then had to wait last in que for hire car- so very late at accommodation - but greeted with a smile and shown our apartment which was supposed to be the smallest on the complex- wow it was nice and not so small either. We enjoyed the hospitality of the family run...

We were recommended Metohi Georgila by some friends who had visited and had a very memorable stay there 2 years ago and vowed to return! This May we took our small son with us and stayed a week- the weather wasn't great for us unfortunately, but the hospitality we received from Areti and her family made our stay very special....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Metohi Georgila is a quiet resting place, built in 1908 by Dr Styliano Georgila, a personal friend of Eleftherios Venizelos. Years later… wanting to continue the warmth and the generous Cretan hospitality, which by the way our family kept for the last three generations, we reconstructed the building and we created 5 independent residences.
