We stayed here the middle of August and were surprised how quiet is was, some days the pool was our own for hours. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and lovely pool snacks served by Yannis. The hotel is very quiet and our room...More
This was our second visit. We booked direct with Maria at the hotel and they include picking you up and dropping you off at the airport. I prefer this to a tour operator getting their cut. We booked our flights with Small Planet via Olympic...More

Hi, The Artemis Hotel in Perissa is in a prime but quiet location. 10 minutes downhill to the beach, where you can also catch the water taxi to Kamari. There is a main bus stop at the bottom of the hill also (Magic Bus restaurant stop), which has a timetable for areas such as Fira, Oia etc. (Fira is about a 25 minute bus ride away.) If want to experience several of the Islands villages and towns you have 2 options. 1) Book a trip at the tour company just past the bus stop on the corner of the beach road (really helpful and reasonable) and 2) Rent a car (Maria in the hotel can sort this for you) and it's only about 25 Euros for the day. You will not regret staying at the wonderful family run hotel! Hope this helps.
