Beautiful sunrise over the sea looking east from our bedroom balcony and window. Quiet and secluded hotel which is lovely. However a bit of a walk to the main town area. Very nice room and view for the price .

Wonderful location, great views, easy to get around. Vietri is a small village with a strong pottery history. La Lucertola is a perfect place to visit the sites in the area. The Ceramic Museum is wonderful.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and found the view from the balcony to be absolutely stunning! The room itself was clean (even though the floor was a bit dusty) and equipped with an AC, which was working, but not very efficient! Bathroom was very clean, but also very small (long legged people will have problems sitting on...

Hotel was very clean & staff helpful & courteous. Rooms overlook the sea,as does the restaurant, Bathroom ok & shower was adequate, not that good if your a rather large person. Need to get a taxi into Salerno for the ferries to Positano & Amalfi but only a short ride (20 euros normally was the standard fare) A short downhill...

Having just spent time in the heart of the Amalfi Coast it was a let down to stay in Vietri Sur Mare. We found the hotel very average, lacking the warm welcomes we have been receiving in Italy the past 10 days. The room had been renovated, so we were happy with that - a bit perplexed why the hand...

The view from the balcony in the room out to the ocean was to die for, absolutely glorious. The room was pretty basic but functional and no real complaints. The hotel is a bit dated and could probably do with a bit of sprucing in general, rooms included. Good base for visiting the village about a 10-15 minute walk up...

Relaxed atmosphere, nice and friendly staff, clean and quite spacious room. We had no problem with wi-fi connection as some seem to have had. The location is between Vietri centre and Vietri Marina with...

On our trip to Italy with our grown children and partners, I had planned to drive the Amalfi Coast. To give us the day on the drive, we stayed just outside Salerno at a hotel which is literally draped over the side of the cliff surrounding the bay. The reception and restaurant are on the first floor, at ground level....

The hotel overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea and has a beautiful view to the south and east but when you look to the west there is a huge commercial port with large container ships docked very near by. Not what you would expect when you think of a picturesque ocean view. The rooms are decorated very cool. Kind of an Aloft...
