However, all the staff were very good and helpful We had a meal in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast was good with a choice of hot and cold items. Would give five stars if...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 8 October 2016

We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and relaxed which reflected on the guests from the receptionists to the waiting/bar staff. The food was fantastic. The people of Dungarvan were very welcoming as we found out when we entered the bars.

The price was right as was the location near work best day. The dinner was excellent. The cod was delicious and it came with a generous helping of chips, salad and vegetables. The bedroom was basic and comfortable if a bit jaded & needing a makeover - especially the shower

Stayed three nights, midweek, to tour the Waterford area, cycle the greenway, see some people. The hotel is accessible and clean, the staff are very good. The room was a reasonable size, the shower was excellent. Puny TV, wifi was intermittent. Breakfast is standard fare, and the evening meal we ate in the hotel was very good indeed. Nicest ribeye...
