The Cairbre House is a charming B and B located on the Estuary in Dungarven, Ireland. The host, Brian, is extremely accommodating, a gifted cook AND gardner. His breakfast creations are delicious, made with fresh ingredients and garnished with fresh flowers. We enjoyed several different outside areas for viewing the estuary and its wildlife. The 2nd floor room and en...

Older style accommodation. Brian is a very good host. Brian and his helpers go the extra bit to prepare breakfast with fresh ingredients from his garden and decorated with flowers picked that morning. Easy stroll to the town centre if you want some exercise. Interesting history to this house and Brian is willing to talk about. This was our first...

Very much enjoyed our stay in Cairbre house. Location is absolutely perfect with the most beautiful gardens. Brian, our host, is just a minefield of information - which led us to a very enjoyable evening in Minnies bar only a few minutes walk away. Decor in this house is what you would expect from such a historical building but it...

We stayed in Cairbre House a few years ago. We went back last week and it is still as lovely. Brian is a great host and the gardens were as lovely in Spring as they had been in late summer. The setting is very peaceful but only a few minutes walk to the town.
