I visted this hotel today with a friend today just for a snack. We ordered two sandwiches each @ 8 francs £6 and were presented with two tiny sandwiches. A bottle of still water cost 12 francs or £10. I paid for the bill of 28 francs with 30 francs and received no change, presumably because the staff assumed I...

Not overly welcoming, wait staff offhand. Looks tired and lacks any interest in their guests there to warrant a good review. There are better and cheaper places to stay.

Great place, clean and quiet hotel. Awesome breakfast buffet, everything you could be asking for. Nice clean rooms with great views of the Swiss / Fribourg Alps. Did not use the spa, but will next time. But out of the way, but that makes it a quiet place.

Visited with a group of friends for lunch on our way to Gruyeres. Service was fantastic and the food was more than equal. A great setting overlooking the valley. We sat on the terrace under the shade awnings. We did not stay at hotel,so unable to comment, but if our experience of the restaurant is anything to go by it...

We only came here to have lunch on the terrace after a bath across at Le Bain de la Gruyere. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food (salad from the salad bar and a sandwich) was really good and very reasonably priced. I would definitely consider staying here.

I went to this hotel with friends to have a relaxing weekend, we did first a nice hike up to Vuanetse (1626m) and then enjoyed the spa area. I am not specially eager of spas due to the fact that often it is very noisy and crowded however this time despite the fact that on Saturday pm from 15h-18h there...

Avery comfortable hotel catering well for couples. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room lacked air conditioning and fan, so we resorted to opening the window to try for a comfortable temperature. The food was good but the menu was limited.

We stayed one night, 2 adults, 2 small children in an extremely spacious suite with bunk beds (with privacy/no falling out sliding doors, great idea) for the kids in the living room and a separate bedroom. The room was great, with children's bathrobes and a little welcome kit for the small one (and goodies for the rest of us too...)...

The reception was excellent, the comfort was amazing, the access to the spa via the tunnel was great. I highly recommend the hotel for couples, group of friends without children. As for the restaurant it is fine for one night though there is not a wide range of choice.
