Having wanted to visit Belvidere Place for a good few years now (having read a glowing review in Observer), I was delighted to learn that there was a vacancy at relatively short notice. Having had a really nice chat about the area and our plans with Jilly (the B&B's charming proprioter) whilst booking, my hopes were definately raised about the...

Jilly's home is a unique and very special place. Amazing artworks and lovely, inspired furnishings are everywhere. Outside there's a beautiful courtyard garden. Our twin room was perfect - comfy beds, great decor and a super bathroom. Breakfast on both mornings of our stay was absolutely delicious - yogurt with poached fresh fruits to start and then a cooked course...

I arrived at this B&B with my partner, late one evening. Jilly welcomed us and showed us to a gorgeous room at the top of the house. It was £155 but worth every penny, big and light and with a large bathroom. There was also a sofa, loads of coffee and tea and most importantly the bed was really large...

I have visited Belvedere place a year ago and was happy to stay there then. I did visit again recently and my experience could not have been more different- this time I came with my wife and young child. I travel a lot with work and have come across varied levels of service, but Jilly's recent unacceptable conduct compels me...

My fiance & I decided to take a well earned break from planning our July wedding. We decided that Broadstairs would be a good choice as it would only takes us under two hours to get there. I have previously visited, but it would be my fiances first time. We arrived on Saturday and the weather was glorious although somewhat...

I found this place on tripadvisor while planning a weekend away for my wife and I. We wanted somewhere not too far from London so Broadstairs fitted the bill nicely. Belvidere place came up as no 1.. so I thought i'd give it a try. So .. what can I say.. Broadstairs is old school English seaside town.. shops.. amusement...

We stayed for work for one night and loved it. Just wish I could have stayed more - the house is beautifully and originally decorated, Gilly gave us a great welcome, the breakfast was delicious, Broadstairs itself a really pleasant surprise. Can't wait to go back for a longer and more relaxed stay.

Our recent stay at the Belvidere has prompted me to post my first review on Trip Advisor. Jilly and her team are absolutely fabulous - we were made to feel most welcome, including my ten year old son. We will definitely be returning to Broadstairs, but only if we can go back to the Belvidere.

We stayed for two nights last September and we have finally remembered to add our review which we had always planned to do!!! We had a wonderful happy stay at Belvidere Place and a perfect weekend in Broadstairs. Jilly is a generous host and made us very welcome. The breakfast was stunning; the rooms are individual and styled to a...

This was our second consecutive year staying at the belvidere so I think you can say we are becoming regulars (I'm already looking forward to next year!). Gilly, the owner, is not only the loveliest, most welcoming hostess, but I can't say enough about her taste in both decorating (the pictures speak for themselves..) and cooking (the breakfast is to...
