Travelling on business I stay in this area of Kent on a regular basis, usually focus upon Canterbury but on this occasion the inns there were full or overpriced... having friends in this area I gravitated towards Broadstairs and found the Albion. Seafront location, great rooms, shepherd neame ales and good food! Will return.

We took our grandchildren for half term lunch, the restaurant we would have preferred being closed My grandson wanted a sausage sandwich. Nothing more. We were able to order sausage and chips, and a plate of bread and butter but not have this simple request put together by the kitchen Burgers average, my spicy vegetable one rather odd in texture,...

The only place worth considering in Broadstairs. Great public bar and beach terrace. Communal rooms recently refurbished. Sad to say this was not as good as previous visits to this hotel. I would go back though - location is great. Lessons learnt - we need to book a superior sea view room and check the size. Our room was so...

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast dinner with two drinks all for the small sum of £16. So how did we manage it Well the first thing you need to do is to visit the Shepherd & Neame brewery website and register your details on their "it's my birthday" page. Then about a month before your birthday...

The coffee bar is a great place for good quality coffee, italian sized small or regular with plenty of room, including a lounge area, veranda and outside seating area leading to a garden. A good range of snacks, meals or pastries is available and staff are friendly and welcoming, greeting regulars with friendly banter and respect. Once Bellos closed, Costa...

Haven't stayed at the hotel as live in Broadstairs but can recommend the food here as really good for an hotel that doesn't really promote their restaurant The burgers are really nice and they usually have a good selection of specials on offer on a daily basis Gets very busy in season but well worth a visit when quieter

The main thing about this hotel is the service and the staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I cannot praise them enough. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Our sea view was absolutely beautiful. We had bed and breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful, well presented and varied with yet again brilliant staff. If there is one thing the hotel should...
