Well where do I start, this hotel is a little gem. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are absolutely immaculate and we a lovely view. The breakfasts were absolutely out of this world with perfect presentation. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in this area. Thanks to all the staff for such...

Some friends booked this for us having stayed before themselves. Apparently we were lucky to get a room as this was the last one left so we were up two flights of stairs at the top of the building but with a lovely view over the beach. The room was small and cosy but the toilet and shower are squeezed...

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and are particularly pleased that you enjoyed our breakfast, in particular our black pudding! We try to provide all guests with as much information about our rooms and their facilities as possible when they book. We think the lack of a...

My 2 friends and I stayed here for a weekend in August. We had 2 rooms, a single and a twin. Both were very clean and comfortable and the twin bedded room had a lovely view over the sea. The owners made us feel very welcome and the cooked breakfast was delicious! It was only a 5 minute walk into...

I spent one night here after an emergency rescue mission for my son who was already booked in. No fuss to get an extra camping bed in room 2. Very nice for a short stay and a pretty decent breakfast. Took a nice walk on the beach, be warned there's a fair hike back up for those not too agile

Thank you for your feedback - we hope your son got the tattoo he wanted! There is a steep slope from the Eastern EsplIanade, where we are, to the beach, which can be challenging if you're not used to it! It can be easier to return up to us via Bleak House along the cliff top, especially if you're returning...

I stayed at the Bay Tree for one night as I was meeting a friend in Broadstairs. The hotel is great, I was met by Alison who was so welcoming and friendly. I had a single room which was fine for me, no sea view, but you could hear the sea which was a bonus! Alistair, Robert and Ben were...

Stayed one night, good sized room, but bathroom/shower certainly needs attention! Great breakfast though! within walking distance of town centre and restaurants and lovely beach walk/promenade close by.

Alistair and Robert are totally engaged in providing a wonderful experience for their guests and I felt as if I were staying with friends at their country house - in a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable rooms and delicious food. The Bay Tree itself is a gracious house whose lovely bones have been revealed by the fresh unpretentious decor, in advance...

Stayed two nights in August. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the housekeeper, Alison, couldn't have been more helpful. It's quite a grand sea-front house on the cliff and the views from the front of the property are breathtaking. It would be just as appealing in bad weather as you could watch the storm from the drawing room....

Spent two nights at this hotel. Warm and friendly welcome. Stayed in Room 1. Small but comfortable but could do with a little sprucing up. Bathroom adequate and clean. Shower over bath - temperature very temperamental but let the hot water run for a while with the shower out of the holder and it settles down!!! Slept very well the...

Thank you for your feedback We are pleased that you have enjoyed your stay at The Bay Tree You stayed in Room 1, on the ground floor, next to our main entrance. You felt the room needed a 'spruce up'. This room was recently re-decorated including new furnishings (drapes, headboard, luggage rail etc). The Bay Tree will be closing on...

My husband and myself stayed at the Baytree for one evening, wish we had booked longer. Wonderful room, breakfast, views, location. Everything was perfect. To top it all Broadstairs is a lovely clean and friendly town. Will definitely go back.
