Stayed for one night while on business and was pleasantly surprised. The host are very nice and helpful. I arrived quite late and they offered a light snack but as I had not eaten nearly all day and was near the sea I just fancied fish and chips, on directing me to the local outlet I arrived back to the... Alison and Joe are a very welcoming couple and we really felt at home in their beautiful B & B. Our room was comfy and spotless with a lovely bathroom and Alison's home made cake, fudge and bread is wonderful. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a night to enjoy one of the excellent summer concerts at the castle. We arrived early by prior arrangement, so that we could leave the car and explore Rochester by foot. We were made very welcome and given some handy information about things to see and do. The room was very comfortable, with all that you would... More

My husband and I stayed at Cedar House for two nights because we were going to one of the concerts at Rochester Castle. The property was close enough for you to walk down to the town if you wanted. We stayed in the Bellerophon bedroom, which was large, nicely decorated and very clean. The single beds were so comfortable and... More

Wonderful to be welcomed by smiling hosts with tea and cake in the living room when we arrived. The room was very clean and we appreciated the little extras. Very good hearty breakfast. We were very comfortable here.

This is a great place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated and there was a view over the pretty garden. Tea/coffee making facilities came with biscuits, mints and fudge. Great breakfast menu with unusual choices. Friendly owners. What more could you want?!

A friend and I stayed here for two nights so that we could explore Rochester's historical and literary connections. We could not fault this lovely B&B. Immaculate, comfortable rooms, beautifully furnished, and with everything you could possibly want or need for an overnight stay. The en-suite bathroom was equally well provided, with large bath towels and a very good range... More
