We loved our stay at Spean Lodge. Glen Made us feel at home from the first minute we entered the lovely estate. In winter it's cosy with a lovely fire in the beautiful sitting room. There's a very good restaurant just a stone's throw away, so you can welk home after a great dinner. Glen and Suzanne are wonderful hosts,...

This was our 2nd visit to this fabulous guest house having stayed earlier in the year and we couldn't wait to return as part of our honeymoon celebrations. Our 2 night stay couldn't have been better and the welcome could not have been any warmer with roaring log fires, a comfortable room and the impeccable hospitality of the wonderful hosts....

Our impression was good, but we had positive and negative points Positive: The room was Spacious with two big beds. One for us and one for our kid. Glenn, very helpful, helped us to choose the place for dinner, and also with the reservation. Glenn treated us very good all the time, and also our little daughter, who received a...

Buenos dias Nacho, Carmen and Luisa Thankyou for your honest comments. We are sorry that you felt cold during your stay with us. By Highland standards, as I mentioned to you, it had been a very mild night on 6 December (8 Celsius). However, this temperature probably does not compare with the winter warmth of Madrid! Our heating had been...

This October we spend 2 nights in Spean Lodge with our children (aged 4 and 11). We enjoyed our stay so much - the beautifully furnished spacious room, the delicious breakfast and especially the delightful, relaxing evenings in the fire-lit drawing room, after the children were already in bed. Glen gave us great advice as to what to do in...

The accommodation for this trip really was to be incidental as we overnighted before our Jacobite train experience. Spean Lodge had been recommended to us, so we decided to give it a go. Beware.. if you stay overnight you'll regret not being there for a few nights :) Glen is the perfect host with a warm welcome, a genuine interest...

Some friends and I traveled around Scotland in March (2016) and spent the most absolutely perfect day/night here. Our host, Glenn, was the most charming, personable, welcoming, humorous, entertaining, thoughtful person we've had the pleasure of meeting in quite some time. The accommodations were wonderfully quaint; we lacked for nothing! A fire to welcome us, superb conversation, incredible historical knowledge,...

We had one night here, at the end of a walking holiday. This was a great end to the holiday. It is a lovely old house, in the midst of expansive gardens, and our host Glen was most hospitable. We had a large, extremely comfortable room, and ensuite. There is an impressive guest lounge, which we enjoyed browsing in. Glen...

What a find! Top quality furnishings, food and facilities. Our rooms were very well furnished with superb modern bathrooms. The first floor guest sitting room was stunning, in fact every part of the lodge for guests was elegantly, yet comfortably furnished with antiques and beautiful soft furnishings. Glen and Suzanne were excellent hosts; friendly and helpful but not obtrusive. Our...
