The best B&B I've ever met, Glen the owner is really helpful, kind and made of our staying there a wonderful experience. Great rooms, fantastic breakfast... He gave us great advises for dinner and to continue our trip... If you travel to Scotland, it's a nice place to stop and enjoy!

The house - convenient location, easy to find yet tucked out of the way. Lovely grounds. Décor tasteful, elegant, immaculately presented. Super room with supercomfy sleep. The food - outstanding. Menu offered good choices superbly prepared and presented. The hosts - if there is ever a Masterhost competition Glen and Sue would win it. Spean Lodge - better than all...

We stayed for one night on our way back down from the north of Scotland. Glen and Suzanne were very welcoming and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the local area. The accommodation was very nice, clean, well presented and comfy. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, all locally sourced and the...

From the minute we arrived at this beautiful house, we were made so welcome. Both Glen and Sue are fantastic hosts, and made us feel at home immediately. Our twin room was delightful and the bathroom looked as if it had just been completed - fabulous. This is a lovely quiet place to stay. Glen and Sue are full of...

People have different tastes but this was undoubtedly the best b & b we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Our generous , hard working hosts have restored their beautiful house, sharing with guests extensive grounds, an imposing entrance, sweeping stairway, very large comfortable lounge with lots of local history to enjoy and immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Breakfast...

Deceptively nestled into the heart of the village this wonderful period lodge is great for a luxurious night away. This old world lodge offers a slightly more formal stay in luxurious surroundings. The owners were incredibly personable and very helpful offering to book a lovely place to eat that evening we arrived although we'd recommend booking somewhere in advance for...

We wish we had more than one night here. This place is lovely and has so much character. Our host Glen, is most welcoming and makes you feel like you are at home. We had a double room with a large single and so much room. Hoping this standard is kept up for the whole week. Highly recommend !

We stayed in the self catering cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. The place is immaculate. The rooms are big and comfortable. It is furnished with older furniture but also has TV, microwave etc. There are 2 bathrooms one en suite with a large bath, the other shower and separate toilet are downstairs. There are some restaurants near...

Last year we said we'd come back to Spean Lodge and we did! Self-catering River House was equally immaculate and Glen's welcome was equally warm and hospitable. Apart from the quality of the Lodge itself, Spean Bridge is a perfect location because it serves as a wonderful base for day trips in the Highlands. This year, we got up Ben...

I would consider it an upscale property, with excellent hosts. The house itself is beautifully decorated for a country home. The bedroom was spacious with a new, very clean en suite bathroom. My favorite part of the house was the living room/library, where I could spend hours sipping tea and reading. There are two or three restaurants situated within walking...
