very good value. Simple clean accommodation and all you need for a very good price. Great welcome from the owner, lovely supper on arrival. Did an overnight trek with her partner, staying in a cave once used by his family who were gold prospectors. Wonderful experience of the Diamantina with the people who have always lived there. We didn't see...

I can't think of many positives about this place unfortunately. Yes, the owner Patricia seemed very friendly, but we barely saw her and the other staff were not friendly. We stayed in a private room which was located in between two other private rooms, it had no window, no air flow and was BOILING the entire time. There was a...

This was the first pousada I stumbled upon as I got off the bus. Patricia welcomed me in and gave me the tour of the place. I wanted to shop around for the right price so I left only to return half hour later because the rate Patricia was offering was the best, which included a great breakfast. She was...

The hostel location is perfect, right in the middle of all the cute restaurants, near the market, fresh bread, and kickass cheap juice place. Patricia, the hostel owner is so welcoming and understanding of student-budget-itis! We were 9 students traveling together, so she gave us a great deal for tours and the jeep driver she uses is really good, keeps...

I highly recommend this Pausada! The owner is incredibly accommodating and wonderful as both a person and a hostel owner. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience here. You get what you pay for (bed, bathroom, breakfast), it is very simple, but it is definitely worth it!

Hostel Daime Sono is fantastic! It is a cosy little place right in the center of Lençois. It is on a street with lots of great restaurants and it is about a two-minute walk from the main square. The best part of our stay though was definitely the host of the hostel, Patrícia. Patrícia went above and beyond for our...

It's not a hostel, it's someone else's home and a restaurant at night. The dorm was uncomfortable and not so clean. We arrived with the night bus at 6 am. When we got in the hostel the lady said she had empty beds, so we could go and rest if we wanted as it was very early. When we paid...

Great place to stay to meet people and feel at home. Patricia went out of her way to make you feel at home. Pousada is located on main street in lencois and has it's own restaurant. Patricia can organise all tours and trips for you. If you want a local feel this is place for you.

Patricia is THE BEST! She really looks after you like she is everyone's temporary Brazilian mother! We had a private room which we were pretty happy with (we were a group of 4). Patricia has plenty of info about Lençóis and Chapada Diamantina and can help arrange tours for you at a good price, we compared her prices to other...

Really nice place, like home sweet home.. Patrícia hosts you like a mother and makes her best to show you the joys of Lençóis and Chapada Diamantina. Try too some dinner at the restaurant of the own Hostel, like the others in Lençóis, nice tables in the middle of the little streets of Lençóis.. (they serve a amazing feijoada :D)...

“The dorm is upstairs: best way to meet friends! at least 8 beds, a hammock and if you want to fit more people you can ask for more mattresses for the floor (if you have a big group). Downstairs there are two private rooms, one with four beds and another with a queen.”

“If you can manage to reserve the downstairs room, DO IT. It is much better than the "dormitory" upstairs.”
