My boyfriend and me stayed for 6 nights in September 2016. We just found Pakachi via Google and were caught by the term "ecofriendly". It turned out that this was the best choice we could make. It is not a 5-star-resort, but that was not what we were looking for. The staff was excellent. Every morning our breakfast was served...

My family stayed at the Pakachi Beach Hotel for 4 nights at the end of our 3 week Tanzania trip. It was the perfect location to shake off the safari dust, stroll the miles and miles of gorgeous beach and chill out before heading home. Our kids, ages 11 and 12, loved the pool and the laid back atmosphere. You...

The best thing about this modest little resort was the friendly and helpful staff. The food was fresh and plentiful and the view to the beach was wonderful. They were accommodating when we asked to have our room changed to avoid a very shaky stair case to a second floor open room on the beach. The showers and the pool...

Nice lodge, nice view and comfortable beds. Rooms were cleaned everyday, bottles of water everyday in the room, clean towels as well. (Yes it's a basic place to stay but what do you expect?!) The food in the restaurant is really good with a large choise on the menu. Breakfast is more than correct with fresh juice, fresh fruit and...

Excellent food, friendly staff, good views, sea facing rooms. Value for money. The beach is rocky but is perfect during high tide, which is the only time to swim anyway. There is a kite surfing rental next door on the beach and a local restaurant with good food as well. Good WiFi signal

Quiet place, good food, good view, right on the beach, swimming pool, not too expensive, hot water, good mattresses, kind staff. Especially good for those who like a good night rest and for those who don't like crowded beaches. It's so peaceful here! Lovely!

Lovely sandy beach, overlooked by rooms, no concrete walls like most others. The 2 storey bungalowd have amazing views from upstairs and can sleep 4. Pool is good and the food the best on that beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great time there, with live African music on our last night

Pakachi Beach Resort is runned by a small Team of warm-hearted People. The Bar Team serves wonderfull local and European Food from a small, well sorted Menu card. Kids are very welcome. There is always enough Time to chat with the Masai guards and other People staying nearby. Simple but lovely Houses with daily changing Arrangements of Flowers on the...

If you're looking for a quiet place (away from the strip mall that Jambiani and Paje have become) on a beautiful beach, this is the place. Located on the Jambiani/Paje border, it's ideal as it's far away from the wall to wall resorts that line the shores of Paje and Jambiani proper. Should you wish to indulge in what the...
