We returned from Bali last week, our first two nights we had booked into Villa Areklo through late rooms a few months in advance and confirmed directly with Areklo two days before arriving. We were picked up as arranged however we were taken to another villa - just a set of three - and shown around. I queried that this...

I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience at Villa Areklo. I felt totally revived by the time my stay was over - and I would've loved to have stayed longer. Just be aware that this is a place where you need to go with the flow and if you're a type A personality you may be annoyed by the...

But we were in a kindly mood since the owner, Stephen, had just bought us a wonderful lunch before having the driver bring us to the hotel! (The...

We...

Beautiful villa situated at the countryside. Great for those looking for a serene place to relax away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Location is rather far from Ubud central, but free transport & food delivery are available, which are convenient. Lovely interior design, has a nice "zen" feel to it. Very friendly & helpful staff. It's a...

I stayed at Villa Areklo for 3 nights with my girlfriend and it was definitely a highlight of the trip. These villas are located approximately 10 minutes outside of the city, and this is what makes it special. It is very peaceful and so easy to forget everything as you lounge on the couches, swim in the spring-fed mineral water...
