Not staying there. Only eat bbq seafood restaurant below with nice music bar. Big crab $35, Squid $20 and Cold Crystal Tiger beer can $11. If stir fry noodle add $10-$15 on top of crab price. Small size $15. Medium $25. They provide bring your own catch for bbq. They help you cook clam, fish, abalone or prawn with some nominal fees. Nego before cook. Cheap and fresh.

The hotel is situated in strategic location near jetty and restaurants. The view from the balcony is awesome and fantastic. Love the service and room layout. Hope to stay in this hotel again. The seafood around the hotel is very tasty and cheap. Lots of tour agancy to choose island trip.

Would not recommend this hotel. The staff ignores emails prior to the stay. They also don't greet or even smile at you when you enter/exit the hotel. Pillows are extremely high and hard, and coupled with the hard mattress, we had the worst sleep of our entire vacation. We asked for some extra towels to use as pillow instead and was told we can only get two. It's like they think we were going to steal their towels. All the bed sheets and towels were also stained with many stains. You also have to pay 100 ringit deposit in cash and they will go physically check the room when you check out to make sure you didn't steal or break anything. Hotel has too many rules to follow. Shower pressure was extremely weak and probably the worst I've had in a hotel. The room also smelled of sewage. Breakfast variety was lame, almost the same food every two days. This was just a terrible terrible hotel. Stay away.…

Booked through Agoda , roughly rm75++ per person per night which include breakfast, just no soundproof, we stayed at 3rd floor , can hear the band singing at night , and in the morning cat meow , loud music blasting . Breakfast selection ok , we joined the day trip tour by this hotel , rm263 per person for 2 days island hopping which is mabul & kapalai, the other day is bohey dulang , mantabuan island and sibuan island , the tour guides cum divers were helpful which was udin and nasim, the other day guide hutam was good 👍🏻 except one janggut guide was so into himself traveling and never really take care of us . So depends on which guide you have on your boat to take you around for day trip .. overall ok for 3 nights stay , got elevator , water bottle , travel shampoo

Travelling with 2 young teenager. Seaview room beautiful. clean room, with kettle, hair dryer, safe, but NO fridge, wifi. Very convenient walking distance guarding, Watson, 7-11, bataras local hypermarket, many restaurant that like fat mom and etc.. What to take note loud sound could resonate next door.

The hotel has very friendly stuff. The room we stayed in was perfect. Comfy beds, aircon, a wardrobe, some extra mirrors, amazing bathroom. I read some negative comments about the breakfast, but that’s just not right. First morning here the breakfast was poor, but we just told the receptionist exactly what we were missing and the next morning they had it all. Really good service! This hotel has what you need for your visit in Semporna.

This is definitely the best option in Semporna. It is CLEAN and there are no rodents. The food is actually pretty good for breakfast. Semporna is not a great place, to be nice about it....Wave View Hotel is your best bet. Kudos to the staff for keeping it so clean and nice.

Hotel's location is near water front. Entrance approach is unsatisfactory. Entrance steps are risky. Restricted lobby are. Staffs are very helpful. Sea view rooms on 3rd floor are very good. Breakfast are very limited. Breakfast time ends at 9.00. At 8.00 am many items are finished and not replenished. It is is realy shame.

While there was not much info on Semporna online before my visit (someone referred to it as a "cowboy town" although it is much rougher than that), the Wave View Hotel seemed like my best bet. There were no reviews on TripAdvisor at the time, so booking was a bit of a risk. Very happy I booked here, as it seemed like the most modern, clean option (and I am not squeemish AT ALL). Semporna is very small, and the area you want to be in is practically microscopic, and this hotel is perfectly located. The best surprise is that Speedy Dive is located in the lobby and I could not have been happier with their service, see my review for them. Plus you leave and are dropped back off from there for your snorkel/dive excursions (You will see more if you snorkel), could not be more convenient!! The room was clean but did smell of smoke, I would say that 90% of the tourists that visit Semporna are Chinese so this didn't surprise me and I cant fault the hotel. Rooms are tiny but again, to be expected. Breakfast was not good, so don't rely on it just a heads up. Those things considered I would stay there again, and the dive shop attached is such a huge plus.…

New hotel in Semporna and we were surprised - clean, modern,helpful. Room roomy and two beds. Well equipped inciuding a desk,kettle, tea and coffee,and excellent internet. Breakfast at an outside restuarant was fine. The scrambled eggs good. PS no view!
