Lovely colorful establishment located in a nice spot a few miles down from Montezuma (they provide taxi service into town and waterfall excursions). We were there for a movie night and it was actually a fun time. Grounds are peaceful and beautiful. Staff is friendly and owner was a great guy. Also, we loved the pirate themed dining room. Good...

Hotel Celaje is a wonderful place with great friendly staff. We stumbled upon Celaje and found it a relief after visiting busy Montazuma. With its chilled laid back staff which matches the beautiful grounds we had a wonderful peaceful 3 days. We found the cabins very clean, comfortable, but basic and we enjoyed many evenings playing our guitar and banjo...

I stumbled upon this place randomly during the "green season". I live in Costa Rica so I know what to expect when it comes to real deal Costa Rican lodging. This place is definitely real deal. It's not the fanciest place, but it's priced well, it's comfortable, it's beachfront, and the staff is great. Santi is an excellent bartender. The...

Perfect breezy beachfront location, unconstructed peaceful area, surrounded by rich nature. What a charming place to spend several days, relax and enjoy doing a lot of fun things in the hood. The rooms are big, clean with comfortable beds, a big refrigerator and a nice porch with chairs and a hammock. Large variety of fruits, pancakes, toasts, yogurt, eggs, cereals...

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay that was not expensive. The rooms were clean and fresh. Santino helped me with any questions I had and was very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was included and was varied and plentiful. I loved sleeping at night with the rain. And the pool was great, the beach view is...

Stayed here for one night. We didn't like that there was nothing nearby to do, eat, or anything. Great for people who are just looking to relax and read a book by the pool. Restaurant was not very nice and breakfast was limited. We went to montezuma looking for some more buzz and people.

We are just 500 mtr from town were you find 7 restaurants, 2 supermarkets, 1 bar, 1 nationalpark, 2 animal rescuecenters, 1 butterflygarden, several hiking trails, 1 island to snorkel, you can do the canopy or visit the waterfalls and having a private beach all the way to Montezuma. In just 15 minutes you are in Montezuma or Santa Theresa....

We rented a house a few properties down from Hotel Celaje for 8 days. On our first day there, other renters told us about Hotel Celaje, their food and lovely pool area. We were thankful for this recommendation, as we went there and found that by ordering drinks or food, the owners welcomed you to use the pool on the...

We were travelling by car & we were looking for a nice hotel in Cabuya. So, we checked a few hotels/lodges & we finally found this lovely place. The Celaje Hotel has the best value of money in Cabuya for sure! It's a clean place with beautiful bungalows & a big pool. (You need a pool in this area, since...

We live in Costa Rica and have been to El Celaje many times. We love to spend weekends here with our family as it's quiet, close to the beach AND has a pool and also has great food! My daughter especially loves the fries and lemonade. The staff and management are professional, friendly and help make every stay wonderful. We...
