We loved our stay at Oxygen Jungles. Our villa was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and in a beautiful setting. We also loved the views from the pool, restaurant, bar. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. Food at the restaurant was great, and the drinks were delicious. Massage I had was top notch, and I expect from talking to others who used spa services that all are very good. This hotel is a wonderful place to relax, and I would definitely recommend it.
Just home from an amazing 14 night stay at the Oxygen Jungle Villas. To say this was the best place we have ever stayed is an understatement. The reception team, wait staff, chef and all grounds and cleaning staff were well above par. Henry and Mariana had set up a beautiful itinerary that had us doing a different activity every day. From spa couples massages to private yoga lessons, horseback riding on the beach and hiking tours through the national parks. Omar, Ana,Luis and Jasen kept us always with a drink and their service was impeccable for all 3 meals. The villas are very private, well laid out and very comfortable. Bieng set on the mountainside afforded some breathtaking views and was only a short drive to the beach. If you didnt have a car they would provide you with drop off and pickup at your leisure. The shuttle to and from the airport was very comfortable with Mauricio explaing the local highlights and stopping to show us the Crocodiles and some beautiful Macaws on the drive in. There is soem great hiking in the area as well as 2 very nice waterfalls. The hiking tour through Cocarvada nation park was great and even saw some Dolphins on the boat ride there. We have already booked our 2 week stay for next year. Can't wait to go back.…
This hotel is gorgeous and the people are the sweetest. We had such a great time here thanks to everyone that works there with a special shout out Mariana, Ana, Omar, Louis, and Bryan. We had such a great time thank to you all. Also, the food was sooo delicious. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner - truly the best we had in Costa Rica. Will hopefully be able to return some day as this is a very special place.
Simply beautiful, the best please we stayed in Costa Rica, The staff are all very helpful in particular Ryan on the front desk. Simply breath-taking stay no faults at all :) We will be back 100%. The view is stunning and all the animals is an added bonus!
Very beautifully located, everything works well, lovely ambience, attentive staff & nice modern well equipped rooms with lots of glass, food good & recommended 100%. Access road a little steep so secure parking is arranged nearby & a driver promptly collects & takes you back to your vehicle, many nearby activities.
Firstly the property is in an amazing location - up on the hill with the jungle all around you overlooking the pacific. But that really is just the beginning. The hotel is beautiful - no question, but what really made it so incredible were the staff. From my email correspondence before arriving (which there were a lot from me!!) to every last interaction with every staff member, truly was beyond anything we have previously experienced. Jason and Omar at the bar creating amazing cocktails with a fun vibe thrown in for measure. Anna and her restaurant team and not forgetting Marianna and Henry at the front desk - literally they will do anything within their powers to ensure your stay is perfect. The food was also top notch (the ribeye was so good we had multiple nights and the avocado toast was my favorite for breakfast), and the spa has left us never wanting to get a massage anywhere that is not next to a waterfall in the jungle again! We loved we could hike right from the hotel, but also close enough to enjoy other excursions (all arranged by the hotel) - but the peace of the hotel would be perfect for those looking to truly unwind. The only sounds you hear are the birds and creatures of the jungle. Thank you guys - we had high expectations and somehow you exceeded them. We left with many, many amazing memories and cannot wait to return to your piece of paradise in the jungle.…
The Oxygen jungle bungalows are set in beautiful surroundings, with lush jungle overlooking the sea, with a small river and waterfall on site. We particularly liked the friendly hub of the pool, bar and dining area, where the staff were engaging and helpful. The food was good quality and delicious and the staff and chef helpful as we are vegan, however the menu labelling is poor and a number of dishes were labelled as vegan that clearly were not and could not realistically be made so. The cocktails were amazing and impressed that all syrups were homemade. Only thing that we didn't like was that the toilet in the bungalow has a glass door that did not shut!! I don't think there is anything romantic about that 🤔
We had a great stay. We were in the jungle spa villa, which we would highly recommend. The room was beautiful with a lovely patio to sit and watch the rain in. We wish the bathtub could have had hotter water, but it was great nonetheless. Of note, the plumbing system does not allow you to flush toilet paper. The bed was comfortable, there is no tv, but there are cards and domino's. We came for our honeymoon and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and some decorations. The grounds were lovely, there were trails that led to a series of waterfalls. We had a great time exploring and swimming in them! The water was deep but cold! There is also a lovely pool overlooking the ocean, the water was a bit cold though. I also went to the spa for the jungle delight package, it was great I would definitely recommend it The drinks were phenomenal and we're in the 9-18 dollar range. The food was good overall, but some individual dishes could be hit or miss. We recommend the chilaquiles for breakfast, quesadillas for lunch, and any of the fish meals for dinner as well as the tres leches cake. We were excited about the banana bread french toast but it was too dry. We went on the early morning bird watching tour with Greiven . It was right on the grounds and was amazing. He was great at spotting birds and animals and helped us take really great pictures with his spotting scope. We saw several sloths, a howler monkey, toucan, parrot, Tangiers, hummingbirds and more! We also went on a fun canyoneering tour! It was operated by another company, but the hotel set us up with it and transportation. We repelled down six waterfalls and had a blast. The guides made sure it was very safe, but the rocks were quite slippery. All of the hotel staff that we spoke with were very helpful and spoke English well. Reception used WhatsApp and was quick to respond to any requests. The waiters we're friendly and happy to give recommendations or address any concerns. The hotel is not really in walking distance to restaurants or other places of interest. This means you need to rent a car or be prepared to pay high taxi fees. The road off of the main street is also very bumpy, so watch out for potholes if you rent a car. …
Unexpected yet exceeded all expectations. This little gem is tucked into the jungle mountainside of Uvita. Everything from the rooms to the ground were meticulous. The food and beverages were all fresh organic and was amazing. Although it rained quite a bit which was expected it was so relaxing. The drive from the airport is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. I would recommend renting a 4x4. This allowed us to leave the resort and check out the beach and other amazing places. Everything at Oxygen was well thought out. The employees go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. We will be back.
This private resort was our favorite part of the trip for my husband and I! It’s super private and adult only which is a plus when you want to get away. Breakfast is included and it was so good and many options! Dinner was amazing too. The bartender Luis really made us feel special and is the best bartender we have ever came across. Very knowledgeable about mixology and made very good drinks. I was sad when we left because I felt like we were leaving behind family! All of the staff is so welcoming and amazing and really makes you feel special when visiting. The waterfalls on site are beautiful if you want to venture out for the day and are perfect for a private little adventure. the spa was great. We went for our anniversary and they had the room decorated so cute for us. No TVs in the room so you really get to bond and relax with your partner from the outside distractions. Definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!! …
