Great location, airconditioning, mini fridge, nice warm shower, good restaurant, free use of bikes. So yes, the appartment was great value for money. But lets take a moment to talk about Victor (the owner). This guy is a legend! He helped us with everything. Renting a car, transportation to Sierpe, booking a Corcovado tour, you name it. He even gave us his number and asked how the rest of our trip was going. This was our first apartment on a 3 week trip to Costa Rica, but Victor showed us instantly what 'pura vida' means ;)

I spent three weeks here. It was a perfect meeting place for business. Restaurant on site, run by the sister. 1 block from laundry and a mini super. 3 blocks from grocery store, bank, restaurants and more. I didn't have a car, so this was perfect. Taxi's on the corner when needed and I am sure they would have arranged a ride for me. In fact, the owner gave me a free ride to a perfect sunset restaurant! Beds were memory foam and so were the pillows, new fridge, new coffee pot, new table with drawers and a shelf - large. Clean, clean, clean. Great picnic table outside on the covered porch and a hammock. There is also a jungle walk free. It felt like I was in the city and the jungle all at once. I had the opportunity to leave but chose to stay another week. Very accommodating, safe and exceptional people. Would recommend to all and I would stay again without hesitation.…

This is the BEST hotel and restaurant in Town. The food is amazing. Service was exceptional. They were so accommodating to our family. I would highly recommend this family owned hotel and restaurant. I’ve traveled the world, the food here was better than even anywhere in Italy. Every detail was excellent. I give this place a 5 gold stars!

Due to an unexpected problem we needed a one night stay. The unit Was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our brief stay very much. Away from the road up in the jungle ...very quiet and peaceful. Would happily stay again.

This family owned and operated restaurant is spectacular! Service was fantastic and friendly and the food was unique and tasty. We visited with a large group and shared many of the items on the menu. There is something for everyone and everything was exceptional. We highly recommend Las Laureles!

Nice clean cabin with air-conditioning in the jungle up the road from the office and with a nice restaurant on site. The only complaint I have is the location was a little bit far from the water and it’s a good walk if you don’t have a car it may not be the best option(we didn’t have a car so we use taxis to get around which was fine). The restaurant was very good there were a lot of people who came from other places to eat there

My little cabin was decent size, private and quiet. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The food at the restaurant was awesome. It actually gets rave reviews under places to eat in Uvita as well. Nice staff. GREAT value all around!

Thank you to both Victors for our delightful stay at your cabinas! A peaceful setting: the only noises we heard were the circadas Clean sheets and bathrooms. Very nice to have a refrigerator and cable Would have liked to have had a couch or more comfortable chairs, but that does not in any way detract from my review Your family and staff most accomodating and charming So appreciative for the peace and quiet oasis a short distance up the hill from town

As I’m planning my next trip to Uvita I realized I never wrote my review from our visit last year. My husband and I stayed in Uvita for 2 weeks and Los Laurels was hands down our favorite place to eat and have a Margarita. We ate there a minimum of 4 times and always had fabulous service and everything we ordered was delicious. The fish tacos and margaritas are the best I’ve ever had. We are going back to Uvita in less than 2 weeks- see you soon Cindy! 😃
