Excellent accommodations, with plenty to see and explore. Stunning views of the Jungle with the sights and sound of wildlife all around; and only a short walk to town. Steve was a fantastic and friendly host. We especially enjoyed the world class breakfast every morning.

If I could give 5+ rating, I would. This property was every bit as beautiful as we thought it would be, and so much more. The villa: (in short-- luxurious, comfortable, spacious) We stayed in the two-bedroom house, which was gorgeous. Spacious, very clean, extremely comfortable. Luxury. We had two bedrooms upstairs, each with a comfortable king size bed (they... More

This property is the best place to lay your head whilst staying in Uvita. The staff greets you with a smile and the land is beautiful. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay while visiting this amazing city.

We really enjoyed our week. The location is out of the way and surrounded by jungle. We saw a sloth family, coati and howler monkeys on the drive in. I loved listening to the sounds of the jungle in the evenings. Steve was great and helped arrange activities that are all close by. Surf lessons with Uvita 360, diving with... More

My wife and I had a wonderful six days at Manoas this March. The property is located a couple of kilometers off of the main highway. It's a bumpy road but easily done with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We originally booked our stay in Villa Colibri but when we had a problem with the air conditioner not working after... More

My wife and two kids ages 19 & 23 stayed back in January. Us in the Villa Colibri and the kids in one of the tents. I truly enjoyed the air-conditioning in the villa in the heat of the day and the 2nd floor surround deck over looking the river, but the tents are glamping at its best. The tent... More

Simply stellar from beginning to end. The accommodations, staff, food and spirit of this place are truly amazing and so very aligned with the warm, wonderful spirit of Costa Rican pura vida. We'd go back in a minute. Bravo!

Manoas hosted a group of about 30 of us, including children, who rented out the whole property for a week. They tailored all of their services and schedules to our needs and also helped plan some events and gave valuable guidance on places to go and things to do. Their chef Lucy was outstanding and Steve took great care of... More

Our family of 4 from Canada arrived at Manoas in early February for 3 nights. We were instantly excited and pleased the moment we drove onto the property! This place is set in such a cool location and is so meticulously maintained that you can't help but marvel at its beauty. We stayed at Casa Heliconia and were absolutely in... More

My husband and I stayed in a luxury tent for 3 nights. We loved every minute of our stay. The tent was spacious and comfortable. We slept soundly under the ceiling fan. I loved being next to the river and able to amble around and explore the property at ease. I got some great photos. Steve (the owner) was incredibly... More
