This hotel is a bit dated but that is more than made up for by the very friendly staff (the hotel is family-run), the superb evening meal, the fact that the place is spotless and it is very good value compared with central Ax. We were on a motorbike trip across the Pyrenees and this place was ideal - easy... More

This place is perfect for a quiet vacation, although it is at a minutes drive from Ax-les-Thermes. Perfect for skiing and perfect for your summer vacation. Staff is very friendly. They work hard and with a heart for their clients. Don't look any further for your hotel. I find this the place to stay.

nice for what it is, we just needed a bed for the night and our dog was also welcome, wifi was horrible but it was free, so no complaints. WE had a nice view and smoking was also allowed in the room. If we would pass we would probably stay there again

Knowing that we were going through Ax les thermes we pre looked at hotels in the area and found that Saturday night is not a good time to find a room. We found "Le Castelet" and it had rooms. And so it was after some 5 hours of fantastic mountain roads we arrived at the hotel. In its day it... More

Reasonably priced but average quality hotel. I took a room with Solarium (solarium = balcony in any other language). The plug would not work in the bath nor could you stop up the basin. Stupid problems in a hotel that would otherwise be rated okay.

We were pleasantly surprised during our 2-day stay at this small and unpretentious Hotel. The rooms clean and comfortable, beautiful and quiet surrounding and yet close to Ax-les-Thermes. The family who runs it is very friendly. They even waited for us when we called that we would be two hours late for check-in! The restaurant is only open for dinner.... More

Spacious rooms, very clean, Super location, very calm. The rooms have a small balcony with view on the Pyrenees. Excellent breakfast with home-made croissants. Free parking. The hotel is situated about 2km before you reach Ax-les-Thermes in a small village called Perles et Castelet and about 30 minutes from Andorra. Owners are very friendly, we were even allowed to leave... More
