We stayed here as part of a walking holiday. The room sadly smelt of mould/damp and had dog hair on the bed. The room hadn't been opened in a very long time perhaps?? Wouldn't stay here again based on this. However, I would come back again for the food! The evening meal was incredible and breakfast was delicious. The service...

We stayed at Le Petit Relais for two nights. It's a nice, family-run hotel with a decent pool and overlooking the village square. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful, as are all the staff. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice, too - the food was very good. Unlike elsewhere in France, you get British sized portions...

Stopped in after a morning of sightseeing, and loved the intimate shaded stone terrace. Ordered salads, and were bowled over by the size and quality of ingredients! ( we are from Los Angeles, so tiny portions are normal) The smoked salmon salad was great, and the dish with terrines and sausages were terrific as well... Well-priced and unexpectedly good for...

The hotel Le Petit Relais, Cales is a really nice family hotel, there are no problems here. The owners and staff are very nice Lovely people who speak good English. The rooms are very comfortable, with bathtubs and/or showers in the bathrooms a big plus. It's a very pleasant area with lovely walks. The food from the kitchen is superb,...

We stayed here for three nights whilst touring the Bouriane region. The hotel has rather simple rooms which could do with a refurbishment and although quite small we found the accommodation adequate. The wifi is good. The star here is the restaurant. We had the best breakfast of anywhere and dinner was a delightful surprise. Both, to our mind, were...

stopped en route to rocamadour. Didn't expect much but it was very typical of casual French places, clean, efficient, comfortable, relaxed, clean bathrooms. Based on my initial imression I'd be happy to stay there and/or have dinner.

We recently stayed in the hotel on a trip to Barcelona via Rocamadour. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it was a toss up for dinner in the hotel or Rocamadour - and Rocamadour won, but if it was anything like the breakfast, would have...

We recently stayed at this hotel while on a hiking holiday in the region. Our bags had not arrived when we got there, we eventually found them sort of tossed at the bottom of the stairs. Although the owner seemed welcoming she certainly didn't go out of her way. Our room was very small for 2 people and the décor...

Have known this restaurant for years. Amazing food but recently for lunch I had the Calesburger!! You just could not believe the "calesburger" duck burger topped with cabcou and foie gras with truffle sauce and topped with smoked slice of duck magret and pan seared foie gras!! Just amazing. Evening meals are heaven too. One of my top restaurants in...

Reached Cales after a very hard day's cycling - and found there was little else in this village. However, you don't need it. The room was good (except for the memory foam bed), and the food... quite simply the best Menu du Terroir we've had. Logis Hotel food is always good, but this was really excellent.
