We stopped here en route to Spain and will definitely be stopping again on the way back. It's an old chateau with some work ongoing but the reception, bar and rooms were very nice. The restaurant is in another part of the chateau but the 50 yard walk was well worthwhile as the food was what France is all about...

We had booked this hotel as the reviews seemed good and it was on our way to the south of France. The rooms were clean with contemporary furnishings - no problems with the rooms. We booked a table in the restuarant, which it turns out is managed separately, you pay for the hotel accommodation and then the restaurant. We were...

A nice location just off the A10 motorway (2 minutes). We had a car full of stuff and they let us park in the Chateau courtyard which was nice. There was little English spoken, but it was very friendly. The restaurant was closed for a private function, but we had a delicious meal in our room. The room cost 75...

Newly refurbished with all mod cons rooms. Trendy décor and very flashy bathroom. Our ground floor room had a small outdoor space with table and chairs. It was nice to sit there and unwind after a long motorway drive. Breakfast plentiful and fine. But what would make me come back would be the restaurant. Delicious food well worth any detour!...

Bed too small, room not ready, synthetic duvet, flooding wet room, ground floor windows that offer no privacy and a very cold pool, but I'd much rather tell you why I'm giving this hotel five stars. Quite simply the management is superb. I have stayed at...

This hotel really is just off the motorway and the giant neon sign saying "hotel" pointing in the direction of the road was a bit off putting and we were worried it would be full of lorry drivers stopping off. However we were pleasantly surprised by the look of the hotel from the outside. The service was a bit disjointed...

We stayed in this Chateau hotel just off the motoway exit at Junction 33 south of Niort on our annual trip from Paris to Costa del Sol. I always look for a hotel not far from the motorway, with good facilities, safe place to park the car and a restaurant either onsite of a few minutes walk from the hotel...
