Stayed at this very interesting hotel for four nights with family and friends. We had one more than acceptable disabled room and three other single rooms, mine had excellent views over the town and countryside. The staff were all excellent and all the rooms, including the little bar and lounge were tastefully furnished and decorated. Breakfasts were were very good... More

We were booked here by the company that set up our self guided bike tour around the region. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, our room is quiet and comfortable and the historic chateau is full of artwork and antiques. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant the evening we arrived.

We have eaten here a few times while on holiday and chose to have my parents stay here for their 55th wedding anniversary. While adventurous, my father is blind and both are a little infirm; also neither speaks much French. The hotel is lovely anyway, beautiful setting and old world charm but the service really made us take note -... More

From the very first moment when we entered the foyer of Hotel Chateau Mazan I knew we were in for a wonderful experience. The hotel and staff are totally charming, extremely attentive and helpful. I adored the faded Art Deco styling and combined with elegant French style and with interesting objects d'art dotted around, this is one amazing and very... More

Enjoyed several days here as a part of a bike tour (ubiquitous here, as you are in the shadow of Mont Ventoux). The staff was delightful and our room, in the adjacent building was large and well-appointed. With the exception of the silly internet with dozens of routers which needed to be logged into separately, it was a great visit.... More

The chateau is in a great location, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The restaurant for breakfast was one of the best we encountered. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful and the room was exceptional. We loved the bathtub! We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast on the terrace. We loved the neighborhood cats who came to visit. If you are passing through this area, this is a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

Knowing it was once the home of the Marquis de Sade wasn't enough to make us book the Chateau de Mazan, but seeing that we could afford to stay in Palatial grandeur in the region we'd be exploring -- plus tell a good story -- gave it an automatic thumbs-up. Thanks to the Italian-born Enrico, we spent the next full... More

We booked directly in advance with Egbert who welcomed us at reception. All staff were friendly and professional. Pool area is incredibly private and quiet for village location. Our room comfortable and free standing bath was a bonus. Restaurant high standard. Highly recommend.

My husband and I recently stayed at Chateau de Mazan for 3 nights during a Trek Travel cycling tour. Our room was so charming! 14 foot ceilings, 4 poster brass bed, claw foot bathtub big enough for 2 and shuttered windows that opened up to the gardens and a view of the Provence countryside. We loved the pool after a... More
