We stayed at the Alexander house hotel during the second week of July. The weather was roasting hot and we didn't see a cloud once! In all honesty the hotel is ok but its not great if your looking for luxury you will be dissapointed. If you are looking for cheap and cheerful with a pool and somewhere to take...

For anyone looking for some proper sunshine this summer, this place is AMAZING. My whole family had an amazing time staying in this beautiful place, with ages ranging from 29 - 58 years old, this fantastic hotel really does tick everyone's boxes. A family run hotel, with lovely food, stunning views and wonderful service!! My partner and I can't wait...

A really lovely little hotel which I have no hesitation in recommending. Agia Pelagia is a delightful small resort. The hotel is clean and very efficiently run. It is a quiet place where people seem to go to chill out and relax. The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful and all the staff are polite and accomadating thanks to the hard...

Agia Puglia is a beautiful, quiet and somewhat secluded resort. And all of the above make for a very relaxing break. The Alexander House Hotel is a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is good and there is plenty of variety. I came back addicted to Greek yoghurt, honey and museli, although it lost a bit...

We had a two week holiday in September 2011. The staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and polite. The all inclusive package was great value: copious supplies of good, well cooked and varied food throughout 2 weeks, plus excellent beer and perfectly drinkable wine. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We requested a room with a view for our second week and were...

Resort: Agia Pelagia is a quiet, more traditional type of resort situated approx 20km west of Heraklion. The region is very hilly with a precarious twisting road from the resort to the main routeway. The resort is small and traditional with a few bars and restaurants on or near the sea front. The beach is sand/shingle and is very narrow....

This hotel was a bargain for the price. We had 3 all inclusive meals which were quite good and all the drinks and snacks for free also. The hotel is situated in a charming town with breathtaking views. The staff were very nice and the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. I will definitely go back next year.

Entirely pleased with the hotel rooms although to get to any room meant negotiating quite a number of steps; making it unsuitable for anyone with a disabililty. The hotel staff were excetionally friendly and very helpful. The rooms were cleaned, and I mean cleaned, every day with towels changed every day. Food was typical 'Mediterrainian' with a satisfying choice, I...

This is the worst hotel ever. To be an Al inclusive it is really bad. The food was tasteless and they serve no meat. Of course - if you want to pay 18€/pers. for a Cretan night you will be served a barbecue. The dessert was the same every day-boring??!! The coffee does not taste coffe. The snacks they say...
