We spent just one night here and I so wish it had been longer. The building has been decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. Our room was spectacular, with a glass-walled bathroom taking up about a third of the huge total space. The setting and views are amazing. As many others have commented, Laura is absolutely lovely....

We loved our stay at Villa Armena. We were lucky because the hotel was not fully booked and they gave us a larger suite upon arrival. Our room was very nice and comfortable with an incredibly large and modern bathroom. Laura, the owner's mother, took really good care of us during our entire stay. She prepared beautiful breakfast buffets in...

We loved the Villa which has beautiful fabrics and furnishings but the highlight was a superb dinner with wonderful wines selected by the very gracious sommelier Laura. She was also the brains behind the enormous renovation. She has created a very relaxing and elegant retreat. Or sincere thanks.

Having just returned from my second short stay at this wonderful hotel I thought that I better add a review. Set in the rolling hill, with clean crisp air and beautiful views. It was a truly relaxing location. The hosts, Edoardo and Elena are lovely people, and really looked after me. Dinner was amazing, with the new chef really creating...

We spent a weekend at Villa Armena and had an amazing time. Edoardo and Elena (the owners) are a fantastic hosts and helped us set up a wonderful day exploring the Tuscan countryside. I recommend having dinner in the restaurant at Villa Armena as the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very intimate. The relais itself is amazing -...

Laura, the owners Mother, was a superb host at this quiet and well presented villa. As indicated by other reviewers, this property is a little remote, but was a good location to explore Southern Tuscany. My wife and I ate dinner once at the Villa, and the food was OK, but not in our top 3 for this 8 night...

We had a wonderful stay for just one night whilst sourcing wedding venues in Tuscany. Laura is the perfect host. We had a fantastic supper accompanied by well chosen wine and a great breakfast. This is a real find and the surrounding countryside of Val d'Orcia is stunning.

If arriving by night don't be scared as it is on the middle of nowhere but totally worth the trip! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, when leaving the hotel in the morning the views were amazing! We stayed in a great great room, could not ask for more! Clean, cosy, comfortable! And Laura was just amazing, a perfect...

Other reviews rightly talk about the private location, the amenities, the modernity of the rooms in a historic building, but what made our stay so memorable was the attention paid to us by owner Eduardo, and especially his lovely mother, Laura. Our first room had some issues with the water in the bathroom, but Laura helped us immediately change rooms...

Nestled in the Tuscan country side, this is the perfect place to base out of for your explorations. Not only is it beautiful and serene, but also has some of the best food we had on our trip. The sommelier makes the perfect selections. The bathrooms are so luxurious. All and all, the only problem you will have is having...
