We have just had a great week at La Bodega and have mixed feelings about leaving a review as it really is a terrific place that I would like to keep secret!! Only a short drive from the airport and yet it is very peaceful and instantly relaxing as you enter the courtyard and wind your way through the well...

My wife and I have just returned from a week's holiday at La Bodega, totally relaxed and rejuvenated. From our first email contact with Sheila Atkins (owner), we knew we were on to a winner, and, both, Sheila and Ray's (husband) warm and most hospitable welcome ensured our stay lived up to the expectations gleaned from the beautiful images portrayed...

We spent 10 days in this beautiful and well equipped cottage. The owners were attentive without being in your face and nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect for walking in the national park and for visiting the more crowded but interesting resort locations. Los Abrigos seafood restaurants are perfect for a sunset meal after a walk then...

This was our second time stayng at La Bodega. Once again we came to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and once again the place didn't disappoint. Sheila and Ray made us most welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. If your a couple, want to relax, stay in first class accomodation, eat some fantastic local...

12 days in Hibiscus cottage have been an amazing experience. The cottage was beautiful, spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need, but everything else should also be mentioned: "magic" garden with lemons, fruits, aromatic herbs and gorgeous butterflies, the peace and quiet, fresh air, ocean view...and, of course, Sheila and Rey, the best hosts you can get. We...

We have just returned today from a totally wonderful break in Tenerife staying at the Bodeda. We both needed a break from work, somewhere quiet and tranquil and not too far away, however we also wanted warmer weather as the UK has been cold. We chose the Bodega because of the position and because of the amazing reviews on this...

I would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a total relax. ªOnly fifteen minutes drive from the airport, the cottages are very comfortable and Sheila and Ray are very attentive, but not obtrusive! You do need to hire a car if you stay here because the village does not have a lot to offer. Also if you like a...

We came back from La Bodega yesterday and are already missing it! We were looking for a week of complete relaxation and some winter sunshine in nice surroundings and that's exactly what we found. The accommodation is just right for couples - we were in Bougainvillea - making great use of the original features both inside and throughout the site....

We spent 11 nights here in November 2011 . Absolutely loved it . Sheila Atkins and her husband Ray were so friendly and helpful , giving all the advice you need to make the most of your holiday . Although a little tricky to access initially , you soon get used to the village's one way system ; five minutes...

Located in the quiet village San Miguel de Abona. (a car is a must) For us it was a perfect location. 20 minutes drive to nice coastal villages as El Medano and Los Christianos and also on the way to the Teide, where you can make great hikings. From the Bodega you can walk to a supermarket, a bakery and...
