Beautiful location in a wooded area. We had the charm room. Spacious room. I thought the shower was a bit small. The bathroom was also good. Had a lovely drink in the living room. We had dinner outside. Breakfast was fine. Good hotel

This golfing hotel is just inside the Netherlands border with Germany and easy to find from the motorway.
We stayed for a night, breaking a long journey and arriving about 1930.
All the staff were approachable and helpful and made sure that we were happy with everything. We had booked the fixed price dinner and the three courses (no choice) were very tasty and attractively presented.
The room was standard but comfortable although the plumbing was a little noisy.
Nice to be able to walk around the grounds.
Would be very happy to stay again if in the area.

This hotel is in the middle of the beautiful countryside of Twente. The hotel itself is ok, the room we stayed in -however- was very old fashioned and really needs an urgent upgrade. The TV-set is very limited and the size of an old15 inch computer monitor. The bathroom is ok; nothing special though. Breakfast is fine, but lacks variety. Personnel is polite, but not very spontaneous. All in all an acceptable place to stay, but bearing in mind the price we paid, I have to confess that I expected a bit more.

We stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed the quiet and clean room for 4 persons. Friendly and helpful staff. Good hotel, especially if you love playing golf. They have a compact course (9 holes, par-3) which was not crowded at all during our stay.

May be I did not stay long enough in this hotel to experience all the positive aspects which are mentioned in some of the reviews. Nevertheless for the rate which you pay, the only what really was impressive - nature and the environment.
Breakfast - very ordinary with bad coffee and not really friendly ladies in the restaurant! coffee - not what you want to drink first thing in the morning. Receptions - very business trained, nice person but human touch is missing! Rooms are ok, bathrooms are very good renovated.
I do not get the impression of me wanting to stay again in this hotel. May be one day if I reach the age of 70!

The rooms are clean and well appointed, with brand new excellent bathroom facilities. A safe in the cupboards, clean linen and comfy beds. Breakfasts are good. The front desk staff very helpful and friendly - even with a late arrival. The walks from the hotel are superb. The lounge and bar are busy in the evening and well appointed. The weather was not great - but I can see the terrace and pool will be a big attraction in the summer. (our only feeling is that - The bedrooms could do with a slight modernisation - they are a little 60's in feel, and the furniture a little dark in our opinion, but its probably just that we prefer more a Scandinavian style decor.) The room attendants were very good, and even found my husbands iPad under the bed and put it out for him. Friendly, honest, helpful staff, who coped well with our English. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A really nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.
Room and bathroom well equipped and very clean.
Elaborate breakfast. Good restaurant and excellent wines.
Only disadvantage: The bar and lounge are not available for hotel-guests during Golf-tournaments.

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights. The place was clean and beautiful. Swimming pool and bikes were available at no cost. The rooms were pretty and comfortable. Buffet breakfast and 3-course dinner. The countryside was perfect for bike rides and walking. The hotel provides guests with printed walking and biking routes. The staff is very friendly and after a day of biking and/or walking it is a pleasure to relax on their patio.

This hotel has got a very nice ambiance. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The surroundings in very beautifull and using the free bikes you can see a lot of beautifull Twente. Food is nice and the swimmingpool small but refreshing. At the hotel yard there is a 9 hole golf course.

The location of the hotel is beautiful, especially if you also want to explore the area. We had half-board and dinners in the evening were fine, ditto for breakfast.
There is a serious flaw, the bathroom of room 35 (and according to the management that is not the only room with problems) was terrible, full of sewage gas, and even the fan could not suck against it, even after a whole night running there was still a foul H2S smell in the room in the morning.
The worst thing is that the problem is known to the management and all rooms are rented out anyway, therefore there was no possibility to offer another room after complaining. In short, the management accepts that guests must accept the harmful side effects (headaches, nausea) of sewage gas. Keep in mind that sewage gas can potentially lead to even more serious side effects.
I responded to the survey sent out by the management in similar terms, but without any response.
It remained an attempt to give the impression that there was force majeure because after the renovation of the bathrooms the sinks were incorrectly placed.....
