My friend and I were backpacking in Turkey we came across this hotel in Tripadvisor. We spent a week at the hotel. We loved he village and the hotel was great. It was clean and affordable. The breakfast was very generous and healthy. The terrace has a lovely view as well. Very good value for money.

Mustafapasa is a quiet village in Cappadocia, not far from Urgup. A nice hideaway after busy and touristic Göreme. The Monastery Cave Hotel is a great place to stay, mostly because of the very friendly owner, his family and staff. They are very welcoming and warm people and they treat their guests like family.

Lovely place with great people. Part of the hotel is placed as caves into the mountain. The rooms are ok: the are clean enough for a trip with friends and the beds are ok too. Fun for all at any time. The restaurant behind has great meals.

The hotel is nice, but it was the people that made our stay memorable. The owner is incredibly generous, welcoming you into his family. Some of the friendliest people that I have ever met. He has many connections too, and can help you arrange your activities during your stay. They have good bicycles for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

I spent 3 nights at the Monastery Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The owner and staff were so friendly and hospitable. Made a reservation for 3 nights and the first two nights we were there we had no hot water at all. The beds were made but the room was not clean! There were spider webs and the bathroom walls were stick for some reason. This place is run down in general. The owner obviously made no effort to keep the...

We spent 4 nights in Monastery Hotel! For a first trip in Cappadocia we couldn't have imagine a better place even in our dreams. Ercan, Surreya, and all the family are the kind of turkish people who will convince you if you need it that turkish people are warm, generous and proud of their land! They are at the same...

If you are travelling to Cappadocia, you MUST stay at Monastery Cave Hotel. I'm not one for hyperboles so believe me, as a seasoned traveler, that you will not regret staying there. The family is warm, welcoming, hospitable, generous, and oh so much fun! For two days I was with them, I was family. My two days in cappadoica was...

Mustafapasa is a fantastic little town to stop over at if you like your quite and peace, and fancy treks. When I went it was right in the middle of winter and had snowed out giving it a very magical feel. The Monastery cave hostel was just wonderful. The cave rooms can give you a proper cappadocia experience with all...

This is a great place to stay while visiting wonderful Cappdocia. Mustafa Pasha is a small town, far away from the touristic masses in Goreme, Urgup, Uchisar and Ortahisar. We were lucky to have chosen this place! The hotel is owned by Ercan Karagoz, whose father owned it before him, and Ercan and his wife Cybele run it now. We...
