We stayed with Peter & Pat in their lovely home. The house is in a quiet safe location and has lovely sea views. It's only 5 min's drive to town or a 10-15 min's walk. Peter & Pat made us feel so welcome in their home. We had a bedroom and private bathroom both were very clean. We were served... More

We (2 adults and a teenager) stayed Friday to Sunday, we unfortunately weren't blessed with the weather, but Peter and Pat were very informative about where we could go, taking our interests into account. The house is beautiful, the rooms were spotless, we loved the 'toilet in the wardrobe'! The family bathroom was very spacious, the shower beautiful, easy to... More

We have just spent two nights at the Maditappen after it was recommended by another local B&B which was fully booked. What a result ! Pat & Peter are a lovely couple with plenty of local knowledge to share with their guests. The room that we had was wonderfully clean and was well presented. Breakfast out in the garden was... More

Maditappen is located on a quiet cul-de-sac about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Teignmouth. It has lovely views down to the sea which are quite spectacular, and the walk down into town is through a quiet though extremely safe seeming park. The walk back up is a bit taxing! The property itself is in extremely good order,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Maditappen is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in east Teignmouth with plenty of off street parking. The property has glorious views over the Devon and Dorset Heritage Coastline. The property is modern with two letting rooms, both doubles though we do accept single occupancy. We normally do not let to more than one couple at a time but will accept parties of up to four. We do cater for children and can provide a cot if required. We are located on the hill above Teignmouth looking east and the larger of the two bedrooms overlooks the sea. We are happy to take visitors for one or two days but longer stays need to be discussed before we accept the booking. The double room with breakfast is £65.00 Per night and single occupancy is £48.00. You can be assured of a warm welcome and we do our very best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. ... more   less
